LOL! By calling people "morons" in this thread, you have singlehandedly cast yourself as one by your own definition, AND contributed to the "negativity" factor in this thread. Shame on you! . . =(_8^(1)

Yea, it's funny like that, ain't it? Where's the 9th stepping in to restore order and respect for the law, meanwhile removing the "renegade" mayor from his "bench"? . . =(_8^(1)

What a ridiculous statement! Much as I usually disagree with the political viewpoints of both Benny and Kallend, I would jump with either of them any day. They are not "trolls", by the way, and they both have enough integrity not to type things here they wouldn't say right to your face. . . =(_8^(1)

Gay marriage has been on state ballots before with mixed results. In California, the people voted NOT to allow gay marriage in 2000. So that wacked SF mayor allowing those fake marriages to take place under his watch is not only saying "screw the law", he is also saying "screw the people". . . =(_8^(1)

YES... That's how change happens! What happened to introducing ideas to your congressman, who would then introduce legislation to the House? . . =(_8^(1)

Well, your perspective is refreshing as usual, but where do we draw the line? There are as many perceptions of right and wrong as there are people, so if we all adopted the attitude you advocate, our society would break down quickly. . . =(_8^(1)

So if we don't like the laws of the land, we just ignore them and do what we want, right? Is that the answer? . . =(_8^(1)

  13. I think your theory does defy the rules of probability. If Bush and his staff were intentionally untruthful, they would have to have realized that this would eventually become known. Sorry, it just doesn't make sense that they would go down this road knowingly. . . =(_8^(1)

Who are you talking about? He is obviously referring to all the newly pseudo-wedded gays in San Francisco. They are the loudest right now. . . =(_8^(1)
  15. If Hillary is chosen as Kerry's running mate, and he somehow wins the election, how many weeks do you estimate until Kerry's assassination occurs?? . . =(_8^(1)

I believe he is correct in obeying the state's mandate against discrimination based on sexual orientation. Then we should work the system to change the laws that oppose the mandate, right? Defying laws we don't agree with could lead to a nasty phenomenon called anarchy. . . =(_8^(1)

  18. Sorry, but those 5 year old articles don't convince me that the attitudes of people in the CCC are representative of mainstream conservatives, or that prominent republicans go and speak to them. Um yea, good move. Really builds the credibility of your argument. Again, I find this kind of commentary disgusting. Do you realize that it says a lot about yourself, and nothing really about me? And probably 99.99% of the population of the planet would agree with you. So, just because they support liberal causes doesn't mean they represent rank and file liberals, right? Just like the KKK doesn't represent rank and file republicans, right? SHHHhhhh . . . [looks around] . . . be quiet already, you're blowing our cover! So you think that men like Martin Luther King and Ghandi were wrong to defy unjust, discriminatory, laws? Do you believe the mayor of SF is correct in ignoring state laws against marrying gays? . . =(_8^(1)
  20. Actually, I don't completely disagree with you there. However, I don't believe the intel was quite as "sketchy and conflicting" as you wish it were. . . =(_8^(1)
  21. Rumsfield's sources told him it was there, so he took it as fact. If anything, Rumsfield is guilty of putting too much faith into the sources. Look at it from this perspective: If Rumsfield knew the intel was false, and that the WMDs weren't really there, would he have made such a statement knowing it would be brought out as false later on? Hardly. The man would have to be an idiot to have intentionally lied in making that statement. Despite his fateful phraseology, it was still just a mistake. . . =(_8^(1)
  22. Cool, but that was like predicting the sun will rise again tomorrow.
  23. LOL, why are you so disinterested in explaining what you've said? Again: According to you, Tim McViegh, the KKK, and the CCC are representative of the Republicans. You've stated this often, and within the last two days, so surely you remember at least some of it. So, according to your logic, NAMBLA represents the membership of the Democratic party. Since that organization supports the left, I've made a valid correlation, right? Show me the error in my thinking. And why not actually address this area of your thinking instead of hurling more hatred across the alleyway. That would be schweeeeeet. . . =(_8^(1)

Hee hee, that made my day. Bush's constant mispronunciation of nuclear has always made my eyes roll. You'd think an advisor or someone would help him get it right. . . =(_8^(1)
