    I'm thinking about Facebook, but am not sure yet. I've heard too many horror stories about folks getting their personal information stolen on Facebook... of course, the way to not have that happen is to not post it in the first place. Also, I've got a lot of photos of folks around the DZ... nothing Rated R, some PG13, at worst... but I'm still afraid some folks will get bent if I post them, so I'm still trying to figure out what to do. Anyway, its back to work for me on Monday, so I'll probably just get too busy at work and forget about it until next year's holiday vacation.

    All, I've been spending time while off for Christmas / New Year's scanning in A LOT of old Cal City East / West and Apple Valley Skydive photos. I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do with them all. I'd like to post them somewhere or do a web-site or blog to share them so folks can see them and maybe reconnect, but in the mean time, here's a few from Apple Valley Skydive... Enjoy

    Basically, yes. Hopefully Sparky will wander by and splain things. I can't remember all of what AERO was up to on these test drops and I don't see an Aurora in there. I was just hangin' around the DZ that day.

    Good forensics work on the photo, especially the camera. Also, "B-12's suggest... someone who just prefers them..." Yep. Anyway, unless someone who happens along rembers the era, the photo of Hank was taken at Cal-City East about 10 or 12 years ago. I took the photo and I'm not exactly sure of the date; my filing system sucks. But it was around this time of the year, back then, when the Japanease still showed up at Cal.

    Yes, Cal-City East, but we usually called it a "Pull Test"... in hopes it DIDN'T rip! Anyway, extra points to anyone who can come up with who the other gent in the photo with Bob is.

    That gives me an idea! Does anyone know how to set-up a fund via Pay-Pal where folks can donate $$ for mama to go skydive? We could call it "Throw mama from a plane!"
