  1. Try singing really loud then, it forces you to breath ;) seems to work around here.
  2. For some people it's very confusing to try and transition into headdown to learn headdown. If you can't do it, how are you supposed to be able to transition into it? try launching it, or I read this somewhere: on your belly dearch, that should flip you on your back, but in that you will pass a headdown position, then arch, that will flip you back to your belly. keep doing that until you find "the spot", you will eventually not have to wait all the way till you're on your belly or back. haven't tried it, but it seemed to get the guy going in about 15 jumps. but have someone tell you when to best exit.
  3. Have someone get you upside down by holding you by your shoulder straps. That way you will have experienced the feel of it. Then you can start trying to get in that position doing solos, and looking for the horizon line. I found that at exit, looking towards the back of the plain, and doing a sort of back flip out helps at first. If you have a buddy that can sit in front of you as reference, that's good practice for falling straight, but do a few solos first. Also what worked great for me was singing really loud in freefall, it forces you to breath, and distracts just enough to make you relax.
  4. I don't think you can really say someone is the best just because they placed at some competition. If a team trains just one jump over and over, they have to get it perfect, and then it comes down to the judging which is real weird sometimes. Besides if 2 people have the same level with a 500 jump difference, then I'd say one of them just ain't talented. As for the Euro Cup, I'd say that luck was with the lesser (European) flyers. I saw a video of Alchemy and Arizona Freeflight at the World Cup, and got really wide eyes and couldn't speak for a while. But one has to consider what the training background for that jump was.
  5. If you don't mind waiting for tandems sometimes, this is a fun place to jump. Coaching for most disciplines is available, and there are a lot of people that can give good advice. When the day's over, there are usually small parties all around the DZ. Check out the Freefly Container :)
  6. Deffinitely a good place to go, if you want to jump a lot. Very good organization, and a friendly atmosphere.
  7. hi, when i list all users, then try to sort them by country using the link, i get a db error. works fine if i change the location using sb=6 and leave out so=ascend. haven't tried the other sorting links, but you better check those, too.
