yeah i'll be jumping the whole time. especially the month off i'll be taking after classes let out... im just gonna be roaming around oz with my rig and my laptop... should be interesting seeing as how i've never done any sort of travelling like that before.

i'm heading on out to the university of sydney in a few weeks. ill be there for the semester (ending november 20th) then travelling for a month and coming back around xmas time. www.australearn.org www.idp.com www.study-australia.com http://www.hyperstudy.com/ theres tons of info out there. just check it out and get started early. ive got 3 weeks left and ive still got tons of crap to do. good luck, and maybe ill see ya down there

kevin, thank you so much for a kickass weekend. i now know why they call this shit nylon crack. i did 10 birdman jumps these past 2 days and i almost wanted to cry when i had to unlace my rig out of the suit. by far the coolest thing i have ever done in my skydiving career and i will without a doubt stick with it. youre a kickass instructor and we're all so glad you were able to come out and get 5 new birds out there. now where the hell did all my money go??? i need to buy a suit, pronto!!!!

I've already told Delmarva that I'll be there and I think at least 3 other regulars have expressed interest. After being weathered out at X-keys last weekend I can't wait for this!

For real??? haha, I'm near Washington, DC here in the US and I've jumped numerous times when its 30 degrees F outside (I guess that would be O degrees C??). Anyways, I'm used to the cold, but thats why I'll be staying in Oz for the month of December... lots and lots of summer jumping while my friends are all here in the states freezing their asses off

Just got word back from the University of Sydney, and it looks like I'm gonna be taking classes there July through November. Then I'm gonna take a month and travel/jump as much as I can down there until xmas time. This is so unreal right now cuz I've never actually travelled outside of the US, hell I've never even been off the east coast! So all you aussies, any advice?

last time i lost my cell at the dz it turned up the next morning on the side of the runway. i noticed it as the first load was taking off and i was looking out the door. ...i guess thatll teach me not to get naked on the runway at night!

I did 9 on my 20th birthday this past January. Not too much to brag about, but I usually take my time and chill between jumps... and dont forget lunch, that always takes out a good chunk of time

now alicia, if i recall correctly its 200 jumps within 18 months... hmm.... i guess having boobs does get you everything you need at a dropzone lucky bastard! i'm doing my first BM flights june 4-5 up at x-keys, so maybe we can get out and flock around sometime in the future!

does anyone know if the 105 fits nicely into the FFX helmet from 2kcomposites? i know the FF2, which is the updated version, does, but i found a really cheap used FFX and im thinking of getting it, so i just wanna make sure my 105 fits in it before i buy it.

Yeah, the blue packaging is what they have listed on Sony's site so I'll take it that they are the newer ones. BTW, a bunch of places have these blue Sony tapes on sale for something like $3.59/ea until tomorrow. Search around www.froogle.com for the deals. Thanks for the help guys.

Anyone know the difference between these two tapes? They both appear to be Sony 60-min Premium tapes, but I don't see any differences besides packaging. My guess is Sony changed the packaging recently, so both are still on the market. Anyone know what's up?

unfortunately, the pc-105 is discontinued so if you want to get one you better act fast. there are quite a few places out there offering them but in actuality are scams. i would recommend checking ratings from www.resellerratings.com www.bbb.org

if you read up on the sony cameras in the photography forum you'll read tons and tons about how the new pc-109 is not the best choice out there. the pc-105 is soooo much better and if you look hard enough you can still find some dealer's selling them. i'll be ordering my 105 later this week once my paycheck comes in just my $.02
