yeah i find it a real bitch to juggle college/jumping/working. i work so i have jump money. i go to college so i dont have to work in a smoothie joint all my life. it's a vicious cycle! throw in partying... wow, too much. i'll get serious and go "ok bobby no partying for a while, gotta buy more jump tickets and more sky toys" but that usually doesnt last too long. unfortunately if i have to slack in either of these areas, school gets my least amount of attention. i still manage to carry a 3.0 in engineering courses, but its rough. its funny looking through my notes and seeing tons of little birdmen and freefliers drawn all throughout my notes

Bennigan's has Monte Cristo's on the menu. At least they did the last time I was there which was like 5 months ago. They serve it with strawberry jam, but maple syrup does sound good. Frenchy: I snuck onto Lainey's island. Want me to go knock some sense into her for mentioning crap sandwiches??

The real question is, why do you still have a bottle of Jack from 2 years ago? Shouldn't that have been finished, oh... say 1 year and 51 weeks ago?

Because at the dz down here in Australia, they know that paying me to pack is the only thing that's keeping me in this country financially ...oh yeah, and they're afraid I'll show them up with my amazing flying skills, so they prefer to keep me on the ground packing haha, I WISH!

If you're planning on doing NZ, check out www.kiwiexperience.com. It's a tour company but they have tons of different routes on the North and South Island, just steal an idea from them on a route you'd like to take, get in the camper and roll Similarly, they've got www.ozexperience.com and www.feejeeexperience.com No, I don't work for them, but I've just browsed lots of travel sites for down here and they seem to have some pretty good trips put together. Enjoy!

Now if only Sprint would sack up and get with the program and allow SMS without having to connect online to use it. Their "shortmail" is a very pathetic attempt at the whole texting thing. Being able to text other Sprint members only does no good. Blahhh, just another complaint I have with Sprint...

Well someone had to do it! As for me... 0/0/0. Spent all weekend sitting here reading and writing essays. Anyone have a better weekend than me??

just found this info about the Collegiate Boogie: Wednesday, January 11, 2005 - Monday, January 17, 2005 - 6th Annual Collegiate Boogie at Skydive Williston in Williston, FL (about 20 minutes from Gainesville). Hosted by the Falling Gators at the University of Florida. * Who can attend: Anyone! First timers included. Also, this is not limited to just college people. If you know anyone that may be interested in attending, feel free to invite them. There is no Cypres (Automatic Activation Device) requirement (unless they do not have an A license yet) for your skydiving equipment. * FREE transportation to Florida and back * $15 Registration fee covers light breakfast, lunch and dinner for both Saturday and Sunday. Beer will be provided on both nights * All sorts of jumps (i.e. raft dives, roller blade jumps) * Possible night jumps * Gear may be available for those who don't have skydiving gear * $130 Tandem jumps! * Also, if you are a tandem instructor or videographer, you may be able to do some tandems and make some money * 4-Way RW Scrambles (all skill levels). Trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams. Each team will be made up of people from different clubs and it will be random * Super Twin Otter, King Air, and possibly a Skyvan (tailgate door/exit) on one of the afternoons * Party each night * Cheap jumps * Prizes! SPREAD THE WORD! Oh yeah, I'm the current Collegiate Boogie KegStand Champion, so if anyone would like to contest this.... I'll see you in January

There are 2 events: Collegiate BOOGIE @ Skydive Williston just outside of Gainesville (amazing time I might add, our club will be going for the 4th year in a row this year) and this is usually MLK weekend. Collegiate Nationals @ Lake Wales, which is right around the Holidays time. I haven't been but if you wanna compete that's the spot. I recommend people come out to the Boogie at Williston. It's tons of fun, and the only thing that could make it better is more people. Last year we had Birdman, Aerodyne, and Jumpshack come out demoing gear, and I'm sure it'll be just as good this year. Christina Norris (UF President) organizes the boogie each year. PM me if you'd like her contact info. Oh yeah, University of Maryland represent!!
