    well usually they're a small piece of plaster i believe (whatever they use to make plant pots) shaped into an animal. the classic is a sheep. there's small holes all around it and you out grow grass or whatever out of the holes, so it looks like the animal is growing hair. wow, what a shitty explanation, but i don't really know the technical names for any of this. here's another version of the chia pet. i pity the fool who don't buy one of these!

    Well everyone, I just got back from the Post Office and in my hands I have a brand spankin' new S3... well, brand spankin' new repaired S3. Everyone at Birdman was such a great help to me, especially Jari, Jussi, and Kim. I thank them all so very much for helping me get my S3 repaired and back in the sky. They really do have themselves together over there. I would post pictures of my suit, but the suit looks exactly the same as it used to. You can't even tell anything happened to it. Looks brand new. So overall, I learned the importance of exits and how becoming too comfortable with something can get you in trouble. I lost 3 months that could've been used for flocking, but rest assured I'm back and ready to flock! LOOK OUT FLOCKERS!!!! I'M BAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCKKKK!!!!!!

    jeez!!!! how many times do i have to change the date of my flight?!?! first it was the 20th... but "noooo you should come home earlier!" so then it was the 9th but "noooo we wanna see you in ohio!" now its the 2nd, and you're still heckling me?!?! what am i to do with you ohioans???

    i wish i was, but i'm missing 2 things 1) people to drink with. all my friends moved back to the states this week. i still have 9 days left. 2) money. $100 to last me for 9 days, including airport transportation. lets hope i can afford to make it to the airport. but if someone wants to come to sydney and give me money... i'll drink with ya!

    i ate duck for the first time last week, and i have to say it was one of the best pieces of meat i've ever had. well, it better have been good if i paid $50 for a small piece of meat. well worth it though. the "d" and "f" keys are right next to each other, lets see if anyone slips up and types "fuck"

    i agree. halle-fuckin-lujah that john frusciante is back with them. i have nothing against dave navarro as an artist, but he didnt belong in the chili peppers.

    i loooooooooooooooooooove chili peppers! they were my first concert back when i was 10, and it f*ckin rocked. i've seen them a total of 5 times now and each time it's just been unbelievable. they're just one of those bands that has been out for ages and still knows how to make a completely unique album each time around. did ya know that all the trumpet playing on the Californication album is played by Flea? he went back to his roots cuz he played that before he played bass and anthony keidis pressured him into playing bass so they could have a band.

    I knew a guy back in high school who was with some friends, they were drunk and happened to be near some train tracks, just kinda walking around drunk having a good time. A train came and they all moved out of the way, but this one guy didn't move far enough away and the force of the train sucked him in somehow and killed him. It was a real shame.

    $100AUD/month for unilimited broadband, which is a damn ripoff in itself. but bandwidth checks here show it to be consistently a little slower than dial-up. it's the only option they provide to us american students down here and they jack the prices because they know we need the internet. only 18 days left then back to the T1 connection on campus back home
