  3. if you look at my posts the last thing i was doing was praising it. I was ripped off alot of money on that course as were many others. What you might have me confused for was a similar course that i started up in Auckland. Instead of getting a bogus diploma and international students having to pay $15000 NZD, the one i started (and is still going) is more of a package covering the same topics and you are not free labour also getting free accomoodation and all training and coaching is done by the new zealand team and camera training with wendy smith all for only $8,500NZD. Now i would have been praising that and it was designed in a way that no student can be ripped off as you can pull out anytime you like and be refunded what you have not used. Every jump works out to NZD$20 from 14,000 feet. And you dont have to pack their tandems for free nor do you need to go and work on another dz for free for three months. http://www.nzskydive.co.nz/auckland/packages.html [url] .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  4. I was on the first one....... it was meant to have changed for the better now but dont think it has. I have a good mate on the one right now (did not listen to the advice) give him an email and ask him about it... shaunwalters1@hotmail.co.uk Apparently there is still alot of lifts only going to 8000 feet. It think each jump works out to about $80nzd if you are not from new zealand, and only get 8k sometimes. Other dropzones will go to 13 for $30nzd. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  5. am sorted now, thanks. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  6. does anyone know how to get hold of this place? Am looking to find out if i need a cypres to jump there. Also if the dz.com listing is true and £20 to 15K. Thanks. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  7. can someone tell us what is happening this weekend and what planes are there? .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  8. your name is james johnson, you have been in the sport three years and you think a white main parachute is easier to get hold of than a red one? white parachutes are generally called reserves. try buying an old reserve but first you might want to ask the experienced jumper you have if he is comfortable jumping an old cheap reserve. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  9. My suggestion is to download the player called 'VLC' and watch it with that. I tell you what, without blowing my own trumpet, i think the video is pretty mind blowing for anyone not from new zealand. If you can imagine a little island off the east coast of new zealand where 30 jumpers are located and not another sole on the island apart from the pilot...... well need i say more? Wish i could take credit for it but i only edited it. If anyone is ever interested in jumping there Jamie Lyver (who was in the world record head down) runs the boogie and holds one every year. Slots do sell out very fast though and for about $700 NZ dollars you get accommodation, food, beer and 10 slots plus transfers to the island and back. Check it out, it is a mind blowing location. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .

    help

Depends what country you are in and what country you are buying it from. If in the UK, I could see that sell for about £1200- £1500 .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  11. I think 'American Idiot' by greenday foes excellent with freefly vids. Also 'bullet with butterfly wings' by smashing pumpkins. check this vid out. Dont have it all there but i think the music goes pretty well. Awesome scenery as well. 12. no questions are dumb when you are learning .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  13. better fuckin! blue skies, have fun, it is only the beginning .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  14. With massive wind limits one can only imagine. Anyway, as you said, enough said. The person in question i am sure will listen to you over me with your experience. That is fair enough and the right way to take advice. Though lets just hope their DZO gets the last say. Blue skies. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  15. you also need to answer their questions. A decent safe dz would know if a small jump number jumper was going to go up with a camera and stop them. Coming on the internet and asking about the difference with cameras so he has something else to think about while bored at home.....should not be told not to worry about it by these guys who have so much experience and advice to share. He should be told the answer to his question. I am not saying it does not hurt to give a side note (reminder) on the safety side of things, but he does not need to feel stupid for asking the question. You could tell the guy was scared in his original post by apologiseing while asking the question. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  16. i thought the guy was just fooling around. i meant no harm .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  17. I agree with what you are saying 100%. We were talking about a wingloading, there were no mention of weights. I can not see a person just off AFF wearing weights though. Even if they were, maybe they are doing some solos before they jumping with others at that stage anyway. Nobody said the canopy sizes as i did, sorry. i was reading between the lines. There is not much more in between a 170 and a 240, i think i forgot to mention 190 maybe. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  18. Safety goes without saying as it could going backwards should i also read the daily obituaraies? in the paper my point exactly, going backwards falls in this catergory. Are you saying that a 170 and maybe after a few dozen jumps a 150 would be wrong for someone of this weight? Is the only thing and the definetly the first thing and last thing to do. i was saying what he was implying. He was saying a 170 would not be an option. I am not trying to be personal i just do not see how a good lecture, advice and training for a suitable canopy that is designed to go forward under her wing loading is bad compared to a canopy that is designed to go forward but under wingloading she has a greater chance of going backwards. How on earth is that ever safe? Safety is the first thing, the most important thing. Fun and speed come second. I do not suggest that she is ready for speed but do suggest she is ready for fun. Nobody has fun going backwards, it can be very frightening and extremly dangerous. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  19. I think he is too. Just hashing out a difference of opinion, nothing personal. I do feel bad about saying old fart Nothing personal, i just think for this day and age and the great parachute designs we have now that he is wrong. Telling someone it is okay to be flying backwards is bullshit. We have come to far in this sport to be going backwards. It is never ok for a jumper to be in the sky if they are going to have to land backwards. Canopies have come a long way and the right canopy for a person who weighs 46 kgs is not a a 200, 210, really, maybe not even a 190. 170, maybe, even if it had to be a dosile 7 cell. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  20. Mike111 Dont listen to all the people telling you that you should not be thinking about camera right now. Course you should, i was thinking about it the moment i was doing AFF, i knew i wanted to do camera and it gave me goals to work towards. In anything in life you find things that you want to achieve and then go the appropriate way about achieving them. Fuck all the twats, american nazis that need to tell you that you are wrong about thinking what you want out of your skydiving future. It is the only way to move forward, find out if you want, video tandems, 4-way, freefly, CRW, whatever. The twats that sit here and tell you that you should not ask questions are just plain dickheads that think they bare better than the rest. The may as well not post, they are just trying to look good in front of their peers that read these forums. Everyone that replied to you read your post where it says you recognise that you need 200 jumps and are a long way off by looking at your jump numbers but the dickheads come and tell you not to have aspirations. So many people i speak to say they do not post in these forums cause when they ask a sensible question where they want an answer you get the american nazis coming and telling you that you should not ask that question. Screw them! Ask all the questions you can think of, you deserve all the answers. Keep posting and keep enjoying, dont lsten to the fools that tell you not to have dreams. For the fools who need to put newbies dreams down, you need to realise that the people who have dreams usually research their dreams way before they can live them, these are the people that go places in life. Man these forums can really piss you off when you hear dickheads thinking telling you that you aint allowed to find out what you want to know. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  21. well good luck on your scuba diving future. If you want to learn head down in the sky, buy a jump ticket .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  22. Magicguy seems to like finding out what you all think of gay guys. I reackon he is trying to find what dropzone he should be going to You are falling into his little trap .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  23. WTF Cant believe you put the time in to drawing, scanning and posting that. Have you ever been in water before? Am curious though, why you would need a parachute in your tunnel? .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
