That's buggin the shit out of me!! On my canon pixma photo printer the following inks are in the printer. cyan, magneta, yellow, black and another black. So when i print photos of clouds, where does the white ink come from?? I thought maybe it just uses the paper as the white but when rubbing the white ink off then you see the paper. You are going to miss out on most of the greatest skydiving events and moments. Do 'SPEC' jobs. Jump with all the tandems and AFF students, video them, tell them to stay around while you quickly edit the dvd and then show it to them and the chances are a family member/friend or themselves will buy it, if they do not buy it sell it for a reduced rate. Speak to the owner of the dz about doing this. It may bring his tandem video sales up percentage wise. Organize a special price for your loads to do this or pay the price you have to, every one that sells he gets a cut, your slot gets paid for and you get cash. I bet you in the end you are making more money than the slots you are paying for and people do not buy them. Our dz went from 50% video sales to 75% sales doing this. To pick the right people you get the ones with their parents their or grandparents, once they all weatch it you just simply say 'the dvd is here with manifest if you would like to purchase it, ask nicely and you may get a reduced rate'. Do not offer the dz a percentage on this, you ask them to tell you the cut they want. The owner here will think that either way, you fill the empty slot on the plane up and he gets that cash or you fill the empty slot up, he gets that cash and he gets extra cash from someone who opted out on video. Let the customer opt out on the video before you jump with them or you will piss people off. When you are getting ready to get in the plane just say you are doing a video of them to up your skill level or something. Say to them to stick around for 15 minutes to watch it after in a friendly way. After they have watched let them know they are able to purchase it , maybe even there and then say they can have it for 25% off depending on the vibe you get from the customer. If the video is good the chances of them buying it will be good. Once people actually see them on camera and how good it is with music they want it. Again do it with landing shots but be professional about it, organize it with the owner of the dz and have a nice monitor to view the photos on. Sell them for 10-20 bucks. Just thought i would share a website i just clicked on. I think with 'RHYS' as a contributing poster to these forums that the site is worth a mention. What i find special about this team is that Leigh taught me how to pack when she was 17 with going on 200 jumps. Actually taught a class of 16 to pack at the age of 17. These guys climed up the rankings at the worlds this year and they seem to be making a fair go at this sport. These two are the golden jumpers of New Zealand and I wish them all the best for future competitions. It is not easy coming from a small country of 4 million people and being able to pay there own way to where they are at now. This episode looks brilliant!!! I split up tonight’s episode into two parts and some of the flashbacks may be out of chronological order. Claire wakes up in a car accident saved by the airbag apparently. Her mother was ejected through the windshield and ends up in a coma. Wakes up on the island from a nap Charlie prepared a breakfast picnic on the beach. Desmond interrupts and insists that Charlie spend the day hunting with him. A flock of seagulls fly overhead and Claire has a plan to help them get rescued. Because of Desmond, Charlie blows off Claire’s idea. Claire mad at Charlie again. Claire in hospital police blame her. All of her mother’s medical expenses are being paid by Claire’s father. Whom she believed to be dead. As many people predicted it was Dr. Shepard the woman he fights with in the other episode with Sawyer in the bar was Claire’s aunt. They shared a coffee and Dr. Shepard was suggesting that Claire should kill her mom. Since the laws in Australia do not allow you to take someone off life support he was going to tell her how achieve the same result. Claire never even wanted to know his name and told him to go away.
