  1. councilmam24, yes they're both black. My post however is in jest. It was drawn in about 30 seconds using mspaint just for the fun of it. My handles are fine for me, the rig is snug and it's right hand, then left hand... seriously... I got that one I've yet to actually see the handles before my hands were grasping them. Anyway, the best reason to have different colors would be for others to pull for you should the need arise. Well, what color do you choose? Red is a known cutaway handle color. What if it's not red... then what? If your reserve handle is not silver... then what? So if you use a pillow type handle for both handles, I'm not really sure why it would matter the color except for another persons benefit. I've heard many times people say they want a different handle so they don't confuse the 2. HMMMmmmm ... someone isn't practicing their emergency procedures on a regular basis. So on that note, choose wisely
  2. Keep the worst one and hang it on your wall. They've no use for it except to get it off the market. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
  3. Stand by while I create a beautiful drawing of the handles on my rig .... k, standby.... (minutes go by) It's not finished yet .... ( more minutes go by) Not yet, it's worth the wait .... (It's way beyond meerly minutes. Timeless is more like it... this is a really good drawing)... Ok... DONE!!! Behold!!!! 4. The riser cover went through a few design changes while in production. Barring modifying the riser cover to a later design, it may be tough. Without seeing it it's going to be tough to diagnose but I've got a good Idea what's probably wrong with it.. Look under the riser cover where the sidewall connects the riser to the back pad. Sew the 2 portions together. (binding tape to binding tape. That will tight it up some. Another issue... the distance between the plastic and the side wall is probably too wide as well. Without pulling the plastic out modding the cover to shorten that piece up, it will be difficult. Finding someone to do it may prove challenging. If you'd like to, you can sew on some rubberized grip tape rather than the cordura. That may help. Later models came with it under the tuck flap and on top of the tuck tab on the riser. Good luck. 5. Anything that is close to a PD-R 143 is a good fit. a PD-R 160 and Super Raven 1 is somewhat "Doable" (because I've managed it a few times) but a serious pain in the ass. Depending on when it was built, the main will fit up to a 170 snug. A 150 is much nicer. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

  10. It fits fine. It splits down the middle just like any properly P.R.O. packed reserve. The slider goes into place before skinnying the pack job just like any other reduction fold method. It's very easy to keep the bulk down using that reduction fold method as well. The pack job is just a pack job, and any pack job performed neatly is good. Keep the slider all the way up lines in the middle... etc, etc. Mine is similar but it's not the same. I'm too busy for the next 5 days to take pictures but remind me and I will I've seen some absolute crap, crumpled up canopy, lines all over the place, super extra bulky, "reserve" pack jobs that I wouldn't use on my main ... but somehow they're legal? Who knows Good luck Cornishe. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
  11. Call me when you pack your next reserve. Not exactly like that but just about. Many riggers in this area can vouch for my pack jobs. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

That actually looks pretty good and there's no harm dressing for the crash, especially if you never crash. The price is reasonable. If you can actually wear it in comfort, I'd say go for it. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

  16. When was it made? Some of the first FXs not only were rather exciting (meaning unbelievably inconsistent) during opening but the flight characteristics resembled an aerodynamic brick. The few I jumped would swoop ok but that's pretty much the extent of it. Years later I flew a few different FX canopies and the openings were good and the flight was still fairly ground hungry but it was nothing like the original. The landings were nice with good rear riser control. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
  17. Which is exactly why I teach positive leg pressure even slight forward movement when throwing. Putting your feet near the BOC or arching REAL HARD while pulling is asking for bridle-foot involvement.

    ATMONAUTI

hahaha... ok man. Who popularized it versus who was doing it before it was named. That is the debate which I'm not interested in. I can appreciate your enthusiasm but my concern over the history is pretty slim. Good luck with your quest... seriously. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

    ATMONAUTI

You see, you only believe what's in print. I've got an AD number in the 20s and ya know what? Who cares? I got it because it was a requirement to enter a contest. That statement was made only reference time in the sport. Many things were done before the name was coined and Autmonauti is no exception. I among a large group of people learned to do an Ollie on a skateboard a year or 2 before the move was invented. Some of us skydivers Might have even flown at an angle before Autmonauti was invented as well ... but who really knows. Believe what you wish, that's fine but it does sound like you do take it far too seriously. Good luck. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

  23. Serious!! hahahah!! You gotta be kidding me, what did he do? He was funny, Some stuff was a bit over the top but I always liked reading it when I was online here. I've definitely missed a lot. People whining about whiners, ...How to Behave... oh what else Anyway, What happened? Can someone PM me what's up? Thanks My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
  24. Heck yeah. After a swoop dragging my feet through the stickers, I quit wearing sandals. If the lesson wouldn't have been learned the first time, my feet would have probably been messed up another time or 2. Pulling out the stickers was bad enough... Damn that itched. A few other folks messed up their toes and such wearing sandals. The one that kept wearing sandals messed his up again the following season. Glad to hear you have your off landing syndrome taken care of. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
  25. Someone actually did a TARD with a 27 cell Xaos 78 from that exact bridge. Last I heard, he wouldn't do it again without modifying the back up system. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
