Yup - has been suggested before and it is a good idea. I have not had time to implement something like this yet. I think there are a few other cool features that can be included to add some value. i.e. send a weekly summary email to all registered riggers and DZO's on Dropzone.com (opt in of course) of the stolen gear listed. That way they always have a fresh list. Just setting up a stolen gear database is great, but the key in my opinion always lies in finding a smart and useful way to mine the information and disseminate it. ... there's got to be more that can be done.... any ideas? Personally, no - I don't have any useful information for you. Nothing that you would think is useful anyway. I have never flown any of the canopies you mention. I'm not a high performance canopy pilot - I'm too inexperienced. You've already received an abundance of this, seems like you failed to realize it though. Safe swoops Sangiro

She is indeed, and you're the only one pissing! Ignore the comments you don't agree with, but this is a public forum and people are entitled to respond to your post in any way they like as long as they don't attack you personally. It would be slightly naive to think you'll always get "exactly and only" the answers you want in a public forum. When you don't just ignore it (at your own expense). How does this record work then? Four in the air at the same time either head down or sitflying doesn't sound like a record to me.... the equivalent of that would be a bunch of solo flat-flyers in the same proximity in the air. Or like me logging the first official Dropzone.com record with that solo I once did back in Africa when I was still the only member! Now, if all four of you were docked in some kind of way for 3 seconds...now that would sounds like a record.... any other suggestions? Safe swoops Sangiro

Now why would you want to do that? Spamming the forums with rubbish doesn't work for me. Chit-chat: Not to be confused with spam... You seem to have it the wrong way round, this is the forum where people can post all day long, unfettered. If you can not deal with that and have to constantly engage in "smattering of comedy and ramblings of idiocy", then start your own thread for it, but don't hijack every else's threads who may actually have been out looking for some useful information or a more serious discussion. There seems to be a growing trend to "hijack" almost every thread in this forum with some kind of senseless gibberish. I have nothing against idle chit-chat, but have received quite a few emails in this regard. This is the Talkback Forum, so talk about whatever you want, but it's still a moderated forum and I ask that you be considerate before you simply fire off a single word post with no purpose whatsoever but to derail the discussion. Too often what can be a useful and interesting discussion is snuffed out by this behavior. Be considerate please, there are more than enough opportunities for senseless chatter - we don't have to turn every thread into verbal diarrhea. Happy chatter!

The first T will probably be rather simple. Everyone obviously have their own ideas of what they want and I know it'll be impossible to please everyone. Main purpose of the T would be to enable people to spot each other at the DZ. I also choose this specific company because their other designs are understated. Keep yer pants on laddy..... I'm talking to a distributor of skydiving T-shirts to add a Dropzone.com design to his range. I think that's the best way to get the job of billing and sending orders off my hands (which I don't have time for) - by placing it with a person who does it anyway.

Featured photographers on this site send their photos with the explicit understanding that I will do everything I can to prevent illegal copying and distribution of their images. It ain't perfect, but it's part of what I need to do to ensure these photographers will be willing to share there work here. You can steal anything if you really want to..... If you don't want your images to be protected on this site, don't send them in. There are plenty of other sites who will gladly distribute them for you! Safe swoops Sangiro

You wil get that message when you right-click anywhere on that page. It's to prevent people from grabbing the images by doing: right-click/save picture as... You should not have a problem if you left click, check your mouse button configuration. Never heard of this problem before. Safe swoops Sangiro
