Maybe I should read the rules but I sometimes can not be board with Rules... red Tape.. political correctness and the such... i AM A PROUD VETERAN OF 22 YEARS.. I was in the Gulf when the "Tanker Wars" started in the early 80's. I was in the Gulf again in 1990 during Desert Watch, and in 1991 during Desert Storm. In 1992 through 1995 protecting the No Fly zone over Iraq. And to read Someones post about WAR not being an option insults me and thousands of others. I tried to respond to a post by Wendy. I do respect her opinons although I disagree with them. I flew over Iraq in an effort to protect her freedom to feel the way she's allowed to feel and EXPRESS those feelings openly. BUT.. I do not have to aggree with them, that's the freedom and the right I fought for! Sadam is a BAD man.... there is a woman POW right now, what the FUCK do you think that women is going through right now? Tell ME, not to feel the need to BOMB the living crap out of anything walking in IRAQ. IRAQIE militia dressed as cvilians welcoming US solders, turned and abmushed US. DO YOU HEAR ME... They DRUG DEAD AMERICAN SOLDIERS throught the streets... Listen... You DO NOT HAVE TO AGREE with the Pres.'s decision BUT these are YOUR PROPLE fighting. Support them! I want to express an apoligy for my recent posts on this topic. Not for my views but for the way I expressed them. I spent many years over there as I'm sure many forum readers have, lost many friends over there and growing up in New York City with in view of the towers, there were close childhood friends killed on 9-11. The anti-Soviet rationale was not credible in any of these instances, but other excuses came readily to hand: Third World provocation and terrorism, the protection of democracy, and stopping the flow of drugs. The excuses were lame, but they were apparently sufficiently compelling to many Americans. If we are to combat U.S. interventionism in the future, we will need to combat the new rationalizations. One of the major U.S. targets during those years -- and a likely candidate in years to come -- has been Libya. To many Americans, Libyan craziness, particularly that of Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi, is a self-evident cause for U.S. anxiety. Even before the U.S. took military action against this North African nation, there seemed no doubt that Libyans hated America. Why? For starters, there is Muslim fundamentalism. Fundamentalism is one of humanity's most primitive and dangerous impulses, though, of course, Muslims have no monopoly on it, and many U.S. commentators seem to forget their critique of even Muslim "fanaticism" when it is allied with their government (as in Afghanistan) or used by "friendly" governments against communists (as in Indonesia in 1965) or against other trouble- makers (as in the West Bank and Gaza where Israeli authorities promote the fundamentalist Hamas against the PLO). But fundamentalism is far from the whole story. Libya was not Ayatollah Khomeini's Iran. The proclaimed ideals of Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi borrow as much from Rousseau as from Muslim thinkers, and he is much better understood as a secular, rather than a religious. The real source of the Libyan antagonism toward the United States can be found in the history of the relationship between the two countries. SMA#18

That's just it, it very well may not be their domain. We got nailed last year by a "Secret Admirer" scam where it pulled up an AOL domain screen (or so they thought) and it asked you to put in your screen name and password and receive your "secret Admirer" card. the Next day, AOL shut our account down for Porno solicitation. After I called they told me what had happened. So do not believe your actually going to an AOL domain, especially if it asks for either a CC or Screen name and password. SMA#18

I'd call AOL and ask them about that web site your getting directed to. AOL never ever asked for a credit card number so this must be some sort of elaborate scam using AOL's own graphics tro make it look official. SMA#18
