The event has been suitably celebrated, I now have to drag my ass out of bed and go to work with a hangover. FYI, us Brits don't actually need a reason to get on the beer, we just like to have a suitable explanation for our condition the following day!

I've already told her I'm not doing that again!

Got my bpa A license today, I'll take a bow now, had to fly a 290 sky master after 18 jumps on a nav 240. Needless to say I stood my landing up etc but can anyone explain why I now have to buy my wife a new vacuum cleaner?

It looks like this trip is going to happen, I'm aiming for 23rd May and doing 6 full days. I'm guessing I can get 7 jumps a day in at Perris without too much difficulty? We've got a tunnel over here, what we really need is a dz that's open 7 days a week and weather that doesn't change it's mind every 10 minutes! I'm looking forward to meeting a few of you guys maybe?!

My man aim is to belly fly I guess, but maybe learn a few new tricks too. I thnk I'll go for Perris, just need to put a few things in place this week and ill book my flight. Thanks guys.

I should also add that I'm not asking which is best, merely which would be best for me!

Looking at coming over to the USA next month for a few days to get my jump numbers up, I'm pretty sure it's going yo be Perris or Elisnore but I'm stuck between the two. I'm a relatively new skydiver that's looking to have some fun, learn a bit from everyone and get lots of jumps done too! Your thoughts?

Ok, I can see why people get upset when this thread pops up after being quiet and there being no boobies. I would get mine out but the flash on my camera is broken.

I used to fly a powerkite bigger than that parachute, He does look tiny though, I'm wondering what the wingload per square foot was?

this made me chuckle today, not sure if it's been posted on here already? https://www.facebook.com/BritishParachuteAssociation/posts/10152141551563197

I did pretty much the exact same thing.

I did 2 weeks at Vegas Extreme skydiving, 2 of my friends did the training too, was hilarious. I have a pretty funny video of my first solo exit that looks like someone just kicked me from the plane, I'll post it when I get a min!

she's sat next to me so yes, they're epic. Better side of average at least!

She begs to differ and said something about royalties?

My wife has just told me that I should tell you that she has the best rack in world. obviously I have already told her that this post is worthless without pictures. She also doesn't understand why I jump from aeroplanes, I'm not gonna lie to you, I'm starting to think she's just in it for the insurance money.
-
She's more upset about me taking up skydiving, keeps asking me about my life insurance for some reason?!
-
It's bad enough that I disappoint my wife with it, I'm not gonna post a photo of it on here and do the same to you!

Well I've been a member of this forum for less than 24 hours but I already think I may have just found my favourite thread!

Last stage AFF the hop and pop
JBR replied to grumpylittleman's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I've recently gone through the AFF course and had some nerves when it came to the hop and pop, mine were caused by it being sprung on me about 30 mins before we went up, I'd done 16 jumps by this point and had settled down quite nicely. My nerves also came from it being my first time jumping my own pack job, I had a terrible exit and line twists probably caused by my not being very stable when I pulled. Needless to say I had to have another go at the hop and pop, got my head together by reminding myself I was sub-terminal and had plenty of time to get stable. Wearing brown trousers helps!
