I would definately reccommend coming up north. Once it gets warm again of course. I have to say, in the short time i have been there, I have realized how awesome the people there are. I think you would enjoy yourself. Give a shout out if you do plan to make the trip. Chris

My home DZ is "the Blue Sky Ranch" in NY, USA. I only know of a few people in here that jump there. Tom Buchanan is one and Bben is another. I am new to the sport, so it will be awhile before I recognize other names. Chris Hello Australia

I got uphere on Long island about 4:00AM. I got to my secret viewing spot about 40 miles from NYC down on the beach. Much to my surprize there were at least 1500 other people there.. So, I popped the truck in 4x4, took it down to the fishing spot I go where it is less crowded, and gazed. In over an hour and a half I saw easily 300-400. Most of them were fairly dim, but there were a few real bright ones mixed in. it was just FUCKING COLD. It was cool though.

Yes, it was in FF. And pretty cool. AS far as that alcohol and jumping don't mix.... Well, i don't know, but this is my guess. It was their last load of the day, and they drank it once open. I don't care how much of a light weight drinker you are, 1 beer at 3Kft on your last jump, won't have time to impare your judgement. Just my opinion. Would I do it? Maybe, but only if I wasn't jumping again, and I wouldn't do it at atli.

Mine cost less than 40K, but that is mainly because I skydive now. There is too much freakin traffic on this god for saken island.

real tv just showed a #2000 beer jump at Z-hills. pretty cool passing out a 12pack at 12K.

You said it exactly... It has two season, but one of them comes twice. There is Winter THen MUD Then 3 or 4 day in late august they call summuh Then MUD again

You can still call me a flatlander, but when it comes to WINTER, I spent my first 2yrs in college in central Maine. THAT was enough for me. We get our fair share in Boston, nothing where i am now in Long Island, But Maine...forget it, Crazy snow.
