Granted, then your boss climbed back into the boat a little more wet than before. I wish my wife's job would be less stressful on her. --"Someday you will die and somehow somethings going to steal your carbon" -MM

Granted, now you're unemployed, working the streets as a tranny hooker and was picked up by some politician. Now your life is miserable as your story is the number one talked about thread in speakers corner. The arguements never stop. I wish I had a big back yard for my dogs to play in. --"Someday you will die and somehow somethings going to steal your carbon" -MM

I was born in '81 so I was into whatever my big brother was into. Had this song memorized One armed drummer FTW Could've been the next led zep In about 1988 or 87 my parents banned me from MTV because "It made me crazy". A Poison video came on so I ran upstairs to get this toy microphone I had that had a stand which plugged into a base. This thing had lights that would come up from the base and your voice would come out of two crappy speakers, also in the base. Another thing I needed were my GI Joe winter gloves that my mom cut the fingers off of. Man I was a 6 year old rock star! What got me banned was on the way back down to the tv room I knocked a gate over and it slid down the stairs. --"Someday you will die and somehow somethings going to steal your carbon" -MM

Thanks for the advice Shepp and congrats on your smoke free month! I will try some of these and report again next Thursday. Public indoors is smoke free here so that should help but I'll have to avoid some friends' houses, no biggie. (I feel that me writing it out helps whether people want to read it or not. dz.com is a comfortable place.) Chris ps. gotta keep the lighters....for candles! My wife loves her candles. --"Someday you will die and somehow somethings going to steal your carbon" -MM

Well it's sterile and I have done it but I agree with you sorta. It takes 30 seconds for the shower to warm up anyway so use the toilet and then hop in. --"Someday you will die and somehow somethings going to steal your carbon" -MM

The most important component of my pizza is what hot sauce I put on it. Cheese or cheese and sausage is fine enough for me. Lately it's been Kiss of Fire by CaJohn. Its a scotch bonnet pepper sauce. Your pizza does sound good though! --"Someday you will die and somehow somethings going to steal your carbon" -MM

Day 8 report here w/ info on side affects and me Alright, another week since my day 8 post and things have been a little bumpy w/ smoking. Weekends are horrible, I smoked one pack in two days. However once my work week starts I fall back into a routine of saying no to cravings (habit). I've had the same pack of smokes since Saturday night and have been tallying (sp?) my cigs on my work calandar. Sunday 6 (inlaws over for mom's day and I grilled. Smoking outside is a habit) Monday 2 Tues 6 (went golfing, habit more than craving) Wed 4 (went to dog park, again outside. Got video!) Thurs (today) zero! One thing worth mentioning is I'm smoking maybe half of one each time and wasting the rest. I have two left in my pack which I "hid" in the center console of my car. Having them and not needing them is more comforting than throwing them away IMO. Plus, I might want one Going for a Dr visit tomorrow to update him. Since I haven't had any today I'm calling today my quit date but I've said that before Chris --"Someday you will die and somehow somethings going to steal your carbon" -MM

The GSD we had would pee if a stranger tried to touch him. He was a good dog though and my father really misses him. Rocky was put down early this year due to his back legs/hips. RIP --"Someday you will die and somehow somethings going to steal your carbon" -MM

Tyson's papers online do not show that kind of detail, but his real papers do, unfortunately the most detailed of all his papers were taken without permission by my ex gf. Almost every one of his ancestors are SchIII, or SchV as well as being trackers, or border guards. That's schutzhund right? --"Someday you will die and somehow somethings going to steal your carbon" -MM

My Doctor did prescribe me Chantix and I've been following it for the past 8 days and here are my thoughts. After 8 days I'm still smoking but barely. Around day 5 cigs started tasting weird then bad now gross. The last pack I purchased was on Monday morning, 5/5 9am, and that pack lasted until Thursday morning, 5/8 3am. I'll probably plan on buying a pack this morning at 9am on my way home from work but don't feel like I need to, it's hard to describe. Side effects. So far they haven't been bad at all. I make sure to take my pill on a full stomach and with a full glass of water and there hasn't been any nausea. Dreams have been a little strange but nothing like being on the patch. Some are a little nightmarish but whatever I can handle it. Depression also hasn't been a problem even with my history, Chantix is the only med I'm on right now. One odd thing I've noticed is I don't have a want to drink. On cinco de mayo a friend came over and usually we'll split 8 beers or so but I drank 1 1/2 and just didn't want to finish my second. Not a bad thing obviously. So far I'm pretty happy with it. Edit: Oh and it was $76 for a 5 week supply using my insurance (I think they covered some of it). --"Someday you will die and somehow somethings going to steal your carbon" -MM

Is that a stainless steel type finish? Very nice. Just today I brought up to my wife how much I'd like to get back into drums. This guy on youtube inspired me. Xevofoo or something like that, he's really good. It would tone me up a bit too. Nice kit! --"Someday you will die and somehow somethings going to steal your carbon" -MM

The only two people I know of that have taken Chantix have successfully quit. One is a good friend of mine and the other is someone my wife works with. Sounded too good to be true. I quit for two years using the patch and it was a very spontaneous decision. I was driving home from work one evening and lit up. After maybe 4 drags I put it out and decided to quit right then and there. Not sure why but it tasted terrible. I'm sorta worried that will not happen again, or anytime soon, and based on what the two people that used Chantix to quit I figure I'd give it a shot. Thanks for the feedback. --"Someday you will die and somehow somethings going to steal your carbon" -MM

While tragic I couldn't help but ask myself how much this guy had to drink when this ocurred. His BAC was .29 according to wiki. Alcohol and meds don't mix well. --"Someday you will die and somehow somethings going to steal your carbon" -MM

Does anyone have any good or bad things to say about this stop-smoking pill? I have a Dr. appt tomorrow to discuss and possibly be prescribed this as the patch just failed for me [edit: i failed myself]. I was only smoke free for about 40 hours. --"Someday you will die and somehow somethings going to steal your carbon" -MM

We did. I'm was on my lunch sleeping in a conf room and awoke to something that sounded like the ceiling settling but extra loud. My two coworkers that were at their desks explained what happend. Kinda freaky. We're in Arlington Heights, IL --"Someday you will die and somehow somethings going to steal your carbon" -MM -
I agree that his house was monitored and the police were there trying to make sure nobody was stealing this guys stuff. What didn't sit well with me was where the blood was. If the dog charged these officers I think he would have been shot in the lawn near where the officers are standing. Dobermans are fast, I own one. Instead it looked like the dog was shot on the porch where it was IMO standing and barking. Also, I don't think the Doctor is making up the surgeory bit. The fact that it was dobe might have made the cops over react. --"Someday you will die and somehow somethings going to steal your carbon" -MM
