  2. Of course that's how you see it. You only acknowledge facts that fit your narrative and discard the rest. Meanwhile, in reality, it was not only W. that invaded Iraq, but signed the withdrawal orders. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S.%E2%80%93Iraq_Status_of_Forces_Agreement “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”
  3. pffft. Since when do facts matter? “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”
  4. Yep. Sourced from http://www.gunpolicy.org/ “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”
  5. Not to mention the overall gun death per 100,000.... Germany 2012 -- 1.01 and on a steady 14 year decline USA 2012 -- 10.69 and holding steady since 99. “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”

  7. Voting for the lesser of two evils is still a vote for evil. “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”
  8. Per capita basis? 2011 Gun deaths in the U.S..... 10.38 2011 Gun deaths in the U.K..... .23 Used 2011 'cause that was the latest year stats were available for the U.K. on gunpolicy.org “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”
  9. Didn't say i approved of it. I just like pointing out the hypocrisy. “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”
  10. What are the chances of dying by firearm in general? I noticed you just used 'assault'. How about adding the stats of suicide and accidental shooting? “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”
  11. Yet after how many hearings what came of it? So far zip, other than an admitted smear campaign. As if lying & politicians don't go hand and hand these days. Your side of the aisle is no better. “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”
  12. And let's not forget this little gem, that will soon gain traction.... http://www.news.com.au/finance/work/leaders/donald-trump-accused-of-savage-sexual-attack-on-a-13yearold-girl/news-story/6585a49357159ff2fdc3ff3933370500 “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”
  13. All my right wing friends in Facebook are already exploding over it. “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”
  14. That won't stop the right wing from sending out the link, en masse, to it's constituency. And they will take it at face value. Much like the email about Japan not wanting to invade the mainland during WWII, due to there being a "rifle behind every blade of grass" http://www.factcheck.org/2009/05/misquoting-yamamoto/ “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”
  15. Congratulations.....you are part of the problem. “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”
  16. Why exclude any of those? How about just look at total gun deaths per year. In 2014 the U.S. had 33,599 gun related deaths. There's been a popular "occupy democrats" video floating around FB about how the countries of Australia, GB, France, Germany, Japan, Denmark, Switzerland, & Sweden combined have roughly the same population but far fewer gun deaths. I did the math (based on stats from gunpolicy.org) and found those 8 countries had a combined total gun deaths of 3,533. Roughly 1/10th of what the U.S. has yearly. It's definitely time for a conversation, but it won't result in anything happening. “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”
  17. "Stockholm syndrome" That's a great way to describe it. “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”
  18. I wouldn't be too sure of that just yet. I know it's far away at the moment, but Trump is rising as Hillary is falling. People have been dismissing him from the start. “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”
  19. Let's not get cocky. It hasn't been upheld yet. “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”
  20. I've asked you before and you didn't answer, so I'll ask you again. Give me specific examples of how these are the end times, correlating with specific bible scripture. Not generalities, specifics. I'm especially curious as to you why you think this with issues near and dear to theists hearts...such as abortion, teen pregnancy, violent crime, divorce rate, and drug use all on a downward trend or stabilised. For years. Despite people leaving the church in record numbers. The exception with my list is drug use in states that have legalised weed. “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”
  21. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/07/us/judge-roy-moore-alabama-same-sex-marriage.html?_r=0 I particularly liked this piece from the article...."On Friday, his lawyer, Mathew Staver, made a similar argument, insisting the matter at hand was one that could only be decided by the United States Supreme Court. It's already been decided by the SCOTUS. Obergefell vs. Hodges I believe. “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”
  22. Any chance you got a link to when/where he said that? Would love to use that in some of my online debates. “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”
  23. Any news yet on MHS's response to the appeal? Don't they have a limited time to respond to it? “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”
  24. She clearly forgot she's part of the party of "no" “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”
  25. You two are into S&M? “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”
