Ok, Fantasia just did Willie Nelson and actully sounded incredible. These kids are pretty damn good. Dave's right, though, they're not doing country... Edit: No problem, sweetie... I forgot about the time change. I hated the show last year but for a lack of better programming became mildly entertained this year. I haven's missed an episode. Pathetic, I know! The chincup part I pulled from a thread over a year ago. I'll try to look it up again but the comment made was that the chincup was designed to be more like the one on the Bonehead Optik. The way I understood it, it is the current chincup if you've bought a helmet w/in the last year or so. I currently have a Bonehead Mindwarp but want to buy a completely separate camera helmet. The FF2 is super expensive. I tried on a friend's RAWA this w/e and liked it a lot. Very comfortable chincup as well. It has a nice box for a PC120 but it's not nearly as sloped as the FF2. It didn't seem too heavy either; however, I'd like to do a weight comparison. Decisions, decisions. Katie Get your PMS glass necklace here

In that case I'm curious too, why katie? After jumping the GTI this weekend, I found the Classic II was much easier for me. Not sure how much I'll be jumping it either. I'm not looking for the ultimate flight experience just yet. I'd just like to work into it gradually.

Ok, if I understand correctly, the helmet shown is a FF1; therefore, no hinged hard box for the video camera like on the FF2? Seems like a lot of work for a mod when they make a product that already sidemounts the video camera. Not trying to be critical. I'm contemplating purchasing the FF2 right now. Watch Good Stuff too, you get a better view of the deployment, where he reaches and of course him SMACKING his head on exit I was wondering how long it would take for someone to point that out. Hasn't EVERYONE seen Good Stuff? Andy Serrano (now a GS Civilian in charge of the SOCOM parachute team) was a JM on his first skydive (also shown on the Good Stuff video). There's a nice signed photo up in the SOCOM rigger shed. Curious to know who's on tap this time. It would definitely be an honor.

Good point Bets. Due to a poor exit out of the King Air this w/e I tore about an inch of skin off the top of my big toe 'cuz I had my Tevas on. What lesson did I learn? Don't hit the airplane next time! Seriously, though, you're right. If we choose to jump with Tevas or bare we should be prepared (at least) or think about what COULD happen. I usually only jump with mine if I'm familiar with the landing area or I'm wearing my bootie suit or birdman suit. The chances of them getting caught on something with booties on is far less.
