  1. I am SOOOOO bummed that I will not be there this year! Freak a little for me everyone!
  2. Try feeding him. Away from the vehicles.
  3. Not a bad idea there j0nes! Welcome to the forms.
  4. Congrats WildBilly! A tandem is a great way to be introduced to the sport. The question is - when are you going to do it again?
  5. Thanks one and all. I greatly appreciate the support from all of you. The last 1 1/2 years has been a bit rough, but well worth it. I now look forward to more DZ.com and skydiving time. Yes, Arvel - that is the first Dr. for me! Beer Here will arrive next weekend. Tony & I just returned from Arizona where the graduation took place. Great place to visit in the August. Let's see - sunny, hot (oh - but a dry heat!), lightning storms, rain every night, sand storms....... thank God the people are wonderful. We even had a brief visit to Eloy. Great dropzone and the tunnel is wickedly cool. You can see it miles away from the drop zone when driving in. Mouth - the final "project" is done and the sweetheart let me keep my 4.0! I am sooooo done! Yippee! So bring those shoulders, muscles, necks, backs, vestibular problems, pregnant ladies, TMJ's and more on baby! 22 years of experience as a physical therapist and I finally got my doctorate!
  6. Very Cool. See you Saturday in Raeford!
  7. Very cool Jeremy! Welcome to skydiving. What university is USF?
  8. Way to go Lance! To say the least - he earned it. I guess he can pretty much do anything he wants now......wonder if he will take up skydiving? All that back flexion over his bike for years. He could benefit from a little flat flying back extension for awhile! I'd love to see his competitive edge and drive for success mixed in with our industries competitors.
  9. Very cool. I hope we get to see you and your girlfriend again at Raeford!
  10. If you have all day - do all of the above. Of course the extent of the house chores will be emptying the bathtub after my bath, hanging up my towel and putting away the nail polish.
  11. Why not keep it simple. Jump tickets or a tandem and dinner out on any night but Valentine's Day or Mother's Day.
  12. I'll be there tomorrow! With SkymonkeyOne & TonyT in tow. Katie is following down a few days later. Oh no! Blast - double blast - blast! Man I am going to be hurtin for certain tomorrow riding with those two monkeys. We have a group going out for hot wings tonight! Do you have ANY idea what my poor car is going to smell like by the time we make it from NC to FL?
  13. I totally prefer UPS over USPS. I have also had pretty good service from DHL. UPS is much easier to track, find and deliver than USPS. Plus UPS will drive all the way back to my house. I'm lucky if I get a notice from USPS that a package is sitting at the postal office, much less deliver it to my door.
  14. Congrats Art! Post a photo of that container once you receive it!

  16. Yippee! I am done shopping. I refuse to step into a Walmart, Target, shopping mall or similar establishment until well after Christmas. Since I started a new quarter in school last week, I planned on getting the shopping done early this year so I could concentrate on school and not worry about it.
  17. I hope I get a chance to meet you at the PIA before you travel home!
  18. This is a little long, but may help. http://www.bjnewlife.org/english/bstudy/faq_23.php
  19. Happy Birthday Kate! Hope you had a special day. East Coast Kate
  20. He looks great for everything he has been through. Just think how spoiled he is going to be this Christmas! What a wonderful blessing for his parents and family that he has done so well.
  21. I'm so sorry for your loss. Prayers and thoughts to you and your family.
  22. Looks like you folks had a good time. Happy Birthday to all.
  23. My favorite---- You know you love milk chocolate and so that is all you eat. You munch and munch to your hearts content never considering anything else. Then one day a piece of dark chocolate is found in your box of chocolates. Well, I'll try it just this one time. WOW! You love it! Who could have possibly know that dark chocolate could be even better! All those years of eating milk chocolate when you could have been eating dark chocolate if you had just thought outside of your box of chocolates to give it a try. And so the story goes, some times the risk is small other times great, but only if you try will you find if it is just great. You can change the story to fit sports or almost anything. Just make sure the kids don't relate it to the "trial use" of drugs, smoking or sex. Good luck Teach!
