you do NOT need supplements for weight LOSS. You need a good diet and good exercise routine. and you need to learn when you should and should not eat certain food groups. e.g. if you are mostly sedentary after 4pm. DONT eat a lot of carbs at dinner time. You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing?

the reference was assumed because I only know 2 Brians in skyjumping, and one of them is a local dude most assuredly "unknown" to the OP. You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing?

Isn't that one of the great hallmarks of your country. Anyone willing to put in the work can succeed in business. there is obviously a niche for it, or it would not exist and DZOs would not pay a commission to use them. I see an awful lot of Yanks pissing and moaning about the things that supposedly "make your country great" You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! The trouble is that these 'brokers' are not doing any real advertising to draw 'new' customers. If all you do is search engine optimization, every one of your 'customers' was already looking up skydiving and likely interested in making a jump. The interest and desire was already in place, hence the reason they were searching for a DZ. If the 'broker' was not in place, they would have located the closest DZ(s), and done direct business with them. With the 'broker' in place, they end up routed to the their website, and with no knowledge of the industry, maybe the customer assumes that working through a broker is the SOP (or assumes they they are dealing directly with the DZ) and end up buying there, and costing the DZ money (I have yet to hear of the 'broker' who does not take a cut of the proceeds). Now if the 'broker' was doing some sort of advertising, in order to draw in people who were not previously searching for a DZ or thinking about making a jump, that would be casting a larger net for the DZO for sure. As it sits, they are not casting a larger net by grabbing local customers who are already interested in making a jump, the 'broker' is actually fishing inside of the DZOs existing net, and then releasing those 'fish' to the DZ once they get their cut. The comparison to other brokers is not accurate. Take any of the travel brokers, like Travelocity, for example. For starters, they advertise. They run deals and offer services to draw more people into the industry. They put out some sort of effort for their rewards. Second, they're dealing with national markets and customers. Airlines, hotels, and car rentals are not local businesses, nor are their customers. The pool of customers any of those business are looking for is the entire country (the world for some), and as such is a much wider audience then everyone looking to make a jump in western Pennsylvania. Given the size of the industry and service area, the travel indusrty can support ticket brokers and still make money. Local DZs trying to pull in $200/head on tandems 8 months out of the year cannot. Regardless of what any of us think. (BTW I HAVE seen adrenalin, advertised, particularly in hostels and backpacker environs) If a DZO Chooses to contract an intermediary ticketing agent who the fuck are any of you to tell them there are wrong. Let them run there businesses how they see fit. a lot of those places like Adrenaline et al. also provide other "extreme" packages. On my travels around the world i have seen many and varied types of them, they serve a purpose and quite a few business operators (including DZOs) would seem to agree You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! I would like to think that more compassion towards the former would lead to better outcomes "all around" for the latter You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing?

100% agreed!!! If the ticket scalpers didn't have their sites in the way of the REAL DZ's, just think of how much more money the DZO's would have in their bank acct!! I've heard jumpers make negative comments about this DZ or that DZ only has a Cessna, I can't make any predictions for any certain market area or DZ, but if there were no middle man sites stealing the sales from the REAL DZ sites, I would bet that there would be at least a few more turbine DZ's! the legit sites only use REGISTERED DZ operators, so those operators who are casting their nets wider, trying to improve the customer flow, should be penalised by those who dont?? Not much of a "free market" economy there. You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing?

What are they doing that's so bad? Are they lying, using other people websites and pic? Not providing what they offer? What's you beef with them? Our sport has already been raped by other middle men, of which sLyride was the biggest, so it's just another middle man website that needs to get the hell out of skydiving! DZ's have websites to promote their business, but when ticket scalpers like this site, sLyride (or whatever their name is this week), groupon, living social, PROskydiving, etc, put their sites in the way of the real DZ's websites, the DZO loses and these scalpers win! Most of those sites are NOTHING Like Skyride. they are booking agents, just like Ticketek and any other booking agent. They actually help quite a lot of companies bring in customers. They also take care of a lot of the admin work for the companies as well. Having a ticketing agents is fine as long as they are honest and up front. 2 things that Skyride was not You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! I watched that TV series last year. It is by far, the best thing i have seen on Tele in a very long time. You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing? -
Changes some, for some of us it's an activity we do not a lifestyle or way of life. I dont even identify as a "Skydiver", it's just something i do, it does not in any way define me. Why do i continue to do it, mostly to try and get better at freeflying, Im, a slow learner in skydiving and over the past 10+ years I have struggled and continue to struggle to improve. I enjoy it but it's not "All Consuming" which is no doubt, one of the reasons i am not as good as I'd like to be.
