Ouch, I would just be glad that other than that involvement, you really aren't in the middle of that mess. If the dude that went out drinking says anything, I would just say, "she asked, I told.... didn't know the situation" and keep yourself out of the middle of it. Don't feel bad, I've done things like that a time or two as well. What you think is a harmless question, tosses someone on the coals.

After that story, I have to tell what I did for my (at the time) 4 year old step daughter on Christmas morning. My wife and I (now divorced,) got up early to do the usual take the presents out of hidding, stuff the stockings, etc. I came up with the idea to take flour and make foot prints all over our apartment. Around the tree, near the Entertainment center (which I explained Santa turned into a fireplace magically so he could come in,) into the bathroom, and into the hallway, stopping at the edge of her door before making prints back. Back to bed we went. About an hour later, I am woken up to a very conserned little girl saying "the cat's made a mess." But when I told her what I thought happened, the same look of awww in her eyes. I'm gonna do this trick again if I ever have kids of my own!! Feel free to try it on your little ones Probably one of my favorite Christmas memories to date. edited to add: I told her the flour was Christmas snow, and it doesn't melt.

I'm waiting for a Friday at 6pm meeting. So my bonus check might be a kick right out the door. Oh well, I hate that place anyway!! They are shifting my schedule to "Weekend Nights" so jumping will be hard to do. Fauckers!!!

Well, I'm sure this is a popular answer, but I don't want to grow up. Not Now, Not Ever. But since I have bills, rent, truck payments, etc.... I guess I will have to someday. My new goal - Now searching for a sugar Momma!! 25 - 40yrs old prefered. Rich, and open to my skydiving, snowboarding, and drunk night at the DZ tendencies. Send all applications through PM. -

I did the static line course. I've heard that it takes a bit longer this way, but a bit cheaper. Once you get off the static line, stay current, get your license, stay current, and stay off the rope! After you are off static line, you will soon move up to :20 sec of free fall, and you will start to learn what it is all about. Good Luck, and most of all Have Fun!!

Ok, so if I end up unemployed sometime soon, I'm moving to warmer climates (job or not) so I can get some jumps in with all you fine people. Fighting clouds every weekend so far this winter in Seattle..... and getting shifted to the weekend shift at work starting January. You never know, I may end up at Eloy or somewhere in Florida any day now!! Till then, I'll sit here on my cloudy days at work! (sorry to rant)

At my DZ, I was told I was officially a skydiver after I did my first clear and pull. (yes, it was a case of beer.) They said that when I pulled my own rip corde after jumping from a plane, I was officially a skydiver. I took the static line course, so I was on the rope for 5 jumps, but never did a tandem. That's how I started, and Learned. -
