I think i'm going snowboarding today. I've been doing it a couple years now, and this will only be my second time this season. Headed to Crystal Mt. in Washington. Nice place, but a bit of a bear to get to. Wish me luck!!!

I went to Estes Park on my Honeymoon about 8 years ago in June. Probably a lot better in the winter, but nice little town. Lots of nice cabins to stay in, etc. It is really close to Rocky Mt. National Park too. Nice place to visit, but no DZ's nearby

I hate to say this to you, but siamese cats are evil and you can't fix their eyes when you take a picture of them.

If I could, I would. Scrappy weather for the last few weekends of the year and then my schedule switched so now I'm working weekends, every weekend, and my "home" DZ is only open on weekends. Jump #51 was the last one I made, first weekend of the year, and my last weekend off. Clear skies but super cold. -20 C when we got out at 8.5k. Cold as can be, but worth it. Tempted to cut away my crappy job, and have an endless summer till the credit cards say NO!

I'm so close to doing all that it is scary! I'm pretty much day to day as it is at my job. Been tempted to quit, downsize as much as I can, finish paying for my rig I'm buying off another jumper, and just jump till the credit cards say NO!!

I need a new job, pretty much day to day here before I walk out! Maybe I should look for a job in a warmer (more jumpable) climate!!! Anyone in Florida or somewhere warm looking to hire a guy that knows a bunch about computers, sitting on the couch drinking beer while watching cartoons, and fully versed in "beer rules" for attending your favorite drop zone. Wanted: Sugarmomma in warm climate. Age 24 - 35 preferred. Must provide lots of cash for jumping at local DZ. By the way, not to hijack the post.... the weather in seattle......... still sucks!!

Thinking about a "mental health day" for tomorrow. I get 6 per year, and I only used 3 last year... so I think I'm due.

Maybe if you are good....... you can grow up from Weegegirl and become Wegie Woman!! I have seen a couple books with Capt. Underpants in stores. I don't have kids, so I haven't read them... sorry.

Ok, so I have a new schedule at work and it stinks big time. For the past 2 years, I had weekends off for the most part. During that time, like many of us, I got into skydiving.... My new schedule has me working every weekend 2pm - 12am. Rather kills the whole jumping thing when my DZ is only open on Weekends!!! beer I had a taste of it when i was 5 or so from my Dad. Come on guys, didn't we all... Didn't like it then, but changed my mind around age 19. 13 years later, yep, i still like beer.

A guy at work who is sick of me talking about my jumps all week after a good weekend has said to me. "Skydiving, no big deal. It wouldn't be scary." Who here remembers much about their very first jump.... I remember the door opened, and then i was suddenly on the ground.....LOL I took the static line course for my first jump...and i also remember it was kinda high winds, and I was talked down backwards from the target..... but that's it.
