There is a D.B Cooper letter and it reads: Attention! Thanks for Hospitality Was in a Rut D.B. Cooper I was also looking at the pilot transcripts from when the plane is on the ground in Seattle. Pilot: We're in a Rut. Well he seems to want those back stairs down. From what I read, this letter is a hoax PLUS Cooper was supposively in the back of the plane when the Pilot was talking about the back stairs. Would be interesting if Cooper overheard the Pilot and mentioned rut as a clue in the letter.

I read an article about about Robb Dolin who skyjacked an airplane in 1972 and sucessfully parachuted to the ground but was caught. I think we can develop a partial profile for Cooper based on Dolin. He was in Vietnam during the Cooper hijacking. He didn't know the details about the Cooper skyjack, only that it happen. He had over 100 jumps. The Hijacking was his first night jump. He got 100 dollar bills in the amount of 200,000 and stuffed them in a vest pockets. Had to leave some money behind. He misjudge the jump and landed far from his car he had parked along side a road for getaway. He "BURIED" the money when he landed. Don't know if that was part of the original plan. He got busted when Authorities caught him going to his vehicle. (they had staked out) He told authorities he lost the money on the way down. He said he had PTSD and it appears he didn't care if he lived or die when he hijacked the plane. The PTSD and Vietnam leading someone to not care if he lived or die sounds some what like a Cooper profile. The FBI could have a list of MISSING Vietnam veterans or people in general, high on their list for being DB COOPER. FBI can't PROOVE it because Cooper's body hasn't been found. Family hasn't come forth because they don't want to give their missing relative a bad name OR the family would have NEVER suspected their missing relative of hijacking a plane. ?????SO WHERE IS THE "FBI" LIST OF EVERYBODY WHO WENT MISSING ON OR AROUND NOVEMBER 24, 1971???????

I happen to catch a rerun of the National Geographic show "The SkyJacker that got Away" Starring! Coss, Kaye, Carr and a cast of many. My take aways.... Coss thinks Cooper was inexperieced Kaye thinks Cooper is Dead and thinks Cooper body, parachute and money got pulled "up-river" by the prop of a ship. The prop action and pulling might have caused the money bag to rip open, allowing the bundles of money to come out and deposit at Tena Bar. Cooper body probably in the ocean. Carr thinks Cooper is dead. My take on Kaye and Carr thinking Cooper is dead (a) only evidence found on the ground was the small amount of money (b) money was found on a river bank (c) He must have hit the cold water and died in the cold water. If I was to believe them, then I would think Cooper had a death wish. Oh Yea....something was said about KC but I only watched the last 1/2 hour.

I was thinking since the cord is braided (SOME) of the skin cells from DB Cooper could still be lodged within the braids. If Cooper was tugging and stretching the cord in order to cut it, a better chance of skin cells being caught within the interwoven braids or within the elastic sheath. He would have been the only person to handle the cords in such a tugging and pulling manner.

I was watching a Larry Carr video at Youtube and he was displaying some Cooper artifacts including the reserve chute which Cooper cut rope from. Car is clutching a bundle of rope/cord with one hand like one might do to cut it. "Did the FBI check the bundle of ropes/cords for DNA?" Attached is a copy of the entire DB Cooper plane ticket. I don't know what the procedures were back then, but some of the ticket appears to be typed and some of it appears to be handwritten.... the handwritten parts looks like last minute items that were added such as the Dan Cooper name. In addition to the last minute handwriting there appears to be a last minute stamp of "used Nov 24 71 305" (stamp slanted at an angle) I think Cooper might have been one of the last people on the plane. Maybe this is why the ticket guy hand wrote his name. Again, I don't know what the usual procedures were.

Marla Cooper is in a Travel Channel video from the "Mysteries at the Museum revealed" series. A claim is made in the video that DNA was taken from L.D. daughter and compared to the Necktie. I first posted a NEW youtube video of Marla on here a few weeks ago where she claims L.D. Cooper was DB Cooper. There is also a claim L.D. married an FBI agent. As you guys probably already know here, Paul Joseph Cini skyjacked a Canadian airlines DC-8 on November 13, 1971. Eleven days before Cooper. In Sept. of 1971 after a long night of drinking and watching a story on TV about a failed hijacking he had a EUREKA MOMENT. Jumping from the plane is the best way to escape. I believe Paul Cini was the first to try and parachute as a way to escape. Anyways......Can one safely jump from a commercial DC-8? It appears the doors wouldn't want to come open in mid-flight. Plus a parachuter might hit the pesky tail in the back. the open shell is how they would look as a logger's cabin. I'm sure after a while people moved in them put up dry wall, bathroom etc. but still to small to start putting walls inside....no room. A Mrs. Dewey Cooper won a free trip to Disneyland for 2. It was a Safeway promotion contest for a new Disney Movie called "Sword in the Stone" Attached is the proof...lol

Marla's Gramps house doesn't appear to be 3 bedroom. Just an open shell if I'm viewing correctly. Somebody said groucho marx in regards to the L.D. Cooper news pic. I agree. It's interesting how popular the initials L.D. and Cooper are together. There seems to be no job record after L.D. got out of the Navy in 1955. Dewey did work as a line man per his widow Janet in a Mountain news interview. "All I know is that he worked power line construction – out of the union here in Salem, and they’d send him all over – out of state, too.” Seems like the brothers would follow each others lead...like L.D. going into Navy following his older brother. So the bottomline on the picture. L.D. was Groucho Marx or L.D. Cooper is one of the other guys or guys using L.D. initials in front of Cooper are not rare. LOL

Attached is a February 2nd, 1961 Picture from the Oregonian newspaper of a L.D. Cooper that worked as a line-man for the Portland Gas and Electric Company. His crew was from the Williamette Valley which basically runs along I-5 from Eugene to Portland Oregon. There is report of a Lynn Doyle Cooper living in Vancouver Wa. in 1969 and 1970, right across the river from Portland and also one that lived in Eugene, Oregon. It has been reported L.D. Cooper worked as a Engineering Surveyor. Speculating here, possibly a promotion position after working as a line-man for a number of years. At first I thought the newspaper picture L.D. didn't look like Marla's L.D. Cooper. It appears the man in the Newspaper pic has a moustache or is holding something in his mouth. Hard to tell. Plus he has glasses and a hardhat on. (L.D. would be about 30 at this time if born in 1931) When I put the two pictures of L.D. Cooper (I'm pretty sure they are pics of Marla's L.D.) next to the Newspaper L.D. pic I can see a resemblance. Maybe you guys know more of L.D. Cooper's work history.

They probably did get fingerprints from Wild Bill but D.B. Cooper tried not to leave fingerprints. Losing Weight and Shaving is a good disguise. One picture of Wild Bill shows him with just a little fuzz on his face. Although not Marla's guy. Wild Bill meets almost the entire profile of who D.B. Cooper could be. I'm not promoting anyone as being D.B. Cooper. Mr. Gray says "that plane" was used for parachuting, dropping supplies and such right after a picture of the Cooper plane is shown. Maybe his statement was taken out of context and Gray was talking in general about 727's. I was thinking Gray had special access to FBI files and maybe knew something about the Cooper plane we do not. Attached is a picture of Lynn Cooper and Dewey Cooper side by side. (I do not know of what age they are in each pic) Attached is another picture showing three differenct images of L.D. Cooper. For a long time only one picture was available.

I watch the History Channel video. Delving into consiperacy theories is always risky since it can sound like a cop out. The one thing that does help support Marla's claim of CIA involvement is that the Cooper plane was used by the CIA per Grey if I remember correctly. I attached two news pics. A B&W pic of the Cooper Family with teenage Dewey left and L.D. Right. (and another brother in the Navy?) The other color picture has L.D. in the middle. The color picture appears to be a younger L.D. (before the hijacking?) In the Family Picture. To me, it appears the boy on the far left is the witty and smart one (Dewey) when compared to L.D. Maybe Dewey was the brains of the operation. If they did it.
