Two of my best friends are Black Hawk pilots- one has been 'over there' for almost two months and the other deployed last week. This kind of news brings a big lump to my throat... Speedy recovery to the injured, condolences to the families, and godspeed to the soldiers who didn't make it. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

That Scandinavian band, Mayhem, would LOVE that icon!

Hey, if they want to kill themselves and each other in an effort to prove who's most evil and fucked up before they get the chance to blow up a church, I'm all for it... "Hey Grishnackh! Looks like Faust is more evil than you are!" "Nu-uh!" "Uh-huh!" "Oh yeah?!" [Psycho stabbing noise] "HA!" you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Just watch out for protruding branches... Wouldn't want anything to interrupt, right? That poem was... weird. So uh, what's the symbology there? you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Don't forget the mask and cape... I saw that on a dude's shirt at the DZ, so I appropriated it as my sig. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

I was basing my guess on the general rule of pluralizing words ending in *rix. For example, 1 matrix, 2 matrices; 1 aviatrix, 2 aviatrices... If you say so, but from what I've read, she has neither a fragile psyche nor a limit to her knowledge of English grammar rules... you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Thanks! I've made it this far, which, unfortunately isn't saying much since I don't didn't smoke during the day anyway. Now if I can just survive the after-work hours... Thanks for the encouragement!

Thanks Wendy! 1. Yeah I'm really looking forward to smelling better in both senses (dumb pun intended)- my clothes & hair, and my sense of smell. A few recent quitters at the DZ commented about how much sharper their sense of smell has become- they wanted it dulled again after a few pungent jump runs! 2. Good to know. I used to be able to play and run all day, and I'd like to be able to do that again without going into cardiac arrest. I just need to remember how crappy I feel right now next time I crave a smoke...

Praying for her successful procedure and a quick recovery. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Day 1 of quitting for me. Here we go. Please Lord, help me through this. 'Course I smoked like a chimney last night, so the prospect of quitting is pretty appealing at the moment. [cough cough hAACckk!!] Yuck! WHY, as otherwise intelligent, informed adults, WHY do we put ourselves through this? Did y'all know that it's going to take 10 YEARS for my lungs to fully recover? And that from the first day you quit (today, for me), your body starts the healing process? Knowing that should make it easier, make me able to turn it off, but all I know is that it's gonna suck. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Way to go!! Hang in there. I'm quitting tomorrow (Ash Wednesday) and I'm looking forward to it and dreading it at the same time...

Skydive Spaceland in Houston is a must if you get anywhere near Texas!! It's totally awesome- we've got a SuperOtter (and an Otter, and a Cessna), indoor air-conditioned packing areas, a bar, plenty of friendly freeflyers to jump with, lots of room for your RV (pretty sure we've got facilities), and a totally awesome staff. Not to mention 100+ acres of open landing space, and plenty of outs in case you miss! This is definitely a DZ to put on your list! Here's the link (let's see if I can figure out this clicky business...) http://www.skydivespaceland.com Woo hoo it's clicky! I rock! (finding joy in the little things) Seriously dude- we have a WAY FUN DZ!! you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
