Basically, always carry one of those pointy hammers designed to break auto glass.     This weekend I read something new to me - all embryos start out female, and then during the course of gestation, they develop into either male or female.     Switching tactics - women elicit a much stronger emotional response than men in situations like these... Also, I think it was Ivan said he'd piss off his captors to get them kill him quickly - which I seriously doubt would happen. Beheading by knife seems to be the best death the captives get when they cooperate. I like to think I'd definitely cooperate, beg, plead, almost anything for the chance of surviving - dignity schmignity as long as I live.
