Don't forget to take their cash. And 'Becca... you're more than welcome to hang with me and Omar at my place. I have guns & ammo. Not as much as a good buddy of mine though.... He has a Class 3 firearms dealer's license and has at least 5 fully automatic weapons... including one belt-fed. Thanks Zennie!! However, I've changed my status from "Ridin' 'Er Out" to "Gettin' Out"!! you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

WOOHOO!! My rig is safe!! Thanks to Kirsten and whoever told her of my plight! 1 problem down, 1 to go. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Hey Jim, did you get my PM?
-
Oh, I'm pretty sure I could take a mutha down, but seeing as how there's these waiting periods and stuff... you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Yeah, but it's not like I live in a gated community miles and miles from the ghetto. I live across the street from it. You're prob'ly right though.

Considering I'm not trained, licensed or permitted, I'm thinking gun-acquisition is gonna be a low priority on the supplies list. Anybody wants to take something, they can have it. Geez, I hope it doesn't come to that. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

As if I needed further proof of how cool you are. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Maybe you'll get lucky.

I couldn't use my cell phone in any of the hurricanes because the towers went down. The only thing that would work was my land line. Well shit. Looks like we're the ones who are screwed. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Thanks Andrea!!!

I know! We got rid of ours ages ago! I didn't think anyone still didn't own a cell (except the Luddites). you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

I knew you know, but I didn't know who else knows, so it was for clarification. Tell you what, we're most likely going to be hanging at our place, just to keep an eye on everything, and stay with the pets, but I will keep you on speed dial. If we lose power first, we're heading over! (With beer and pets in tow...is a kitty in a cage OK?) And if you lose power first, my place is open to you. Here's my next question: My friend only has a land line, no cell phone. Would the phone lines likely go out with the power? I'm advising her to buy a cheap go-phone. Opinions? you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Perfect! Park your car in the low spot on Friday, make sure the insurance is paid up. Then tell them you were trying to get in TO WORK.... Ya know, I'm not terribly attached to it... Then again, I bought the beast in some part to navigate higher water levels. My former Saturn SL2 was too low for me to be confident in heavy rain, and since we get enough of that, I figured a Land Rover would come in handy. [mutter] 8-ton piece of gas-chugging junk... you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

you idot you've captured their stunt doubles. I see your Schwartz is as big as mine. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

This is a job for MEGA MAID!!! She can simply suck up the hurricane in her giant Hoover. It'll work too, as long as she doesn't go from Suck to Blow. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Yeeehaaawww!! Git er done, boy! you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

I doubt I'll be showing up anywhere on Friday, least of all here. The employee parking lot has one entrance/exit, and one single flood spot that's lower than the rest of the huge lot - and they're one and the same. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Thanks Bob!

Stock up on ALL vices before the storm hits. Well, I managed to secure a case and a half of beer last night... I'll go back for more tonight... you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

I did that once. It made me giggle. Other ways to have fun: find out her name, and then sing it in songs instead of the original lyrics when she calls. Get as many people in on it as you can. example: Her name is Janet, song is Roxanne. Jaaaa net! You don't have to turn on the red light! JAAAAa net! You don't have to sell your body to the night! you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Thanks Mar! I've just heard that my company will likely close the office Friday. The Pittsburgh office will decide whether to count it as a vacation day. 'Cause, you know, it'll be so much fun. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Ooh! Good tip - will do. Thanks! Any more?

Kroger was insane last night. No water, virtually no canned food but Spam, lines out the door... I think I left them about 12 bottles of Newcastle. The rest went home with me. So, TG, do you have a generator? I was thinking about trying to get one just to keep the 'fridge going. Any tips for riding it out? Doesn't look like we're going anywhere. (I live in the Heights, btw) you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

I know. Gas prices will likely spike again if it rips up Houston and its refineres. A direct NO hit would probably do less actual monetary damage since it's already in such bad shape... Or what Wendy said... there's gonna be loss of property and life most likely - the less populated the area, the better. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

I keep trying to say, "Let's hope for the best" What IS that, exactly, given the current situation? you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
