  1. You might want to contact Deland Fl.DZ. There was a story on the Discovery channel? a few years back about a Brit (I think) who was paraplegic who they helped get back in the sky. They did a lot of experimentation with his legs and webbing the jumpsuit between the legs and he found a way to fall stable. I am sure they would be willing to help. I think Mike Johnston and MadDog McGuire were very involved with him.....Hope this helps. Always remember, when you get where you're going, there you are!

  4. I met "Smitty the jumper" at Maize Ks drop zone in 1970. He made a static line jump that day and sprained his ankle landing a "paracommander". He had some of his old gear with him. Man, was that scary stuff. His lines were attached to a steering wheel from a model t Ford. Silk canopy and all. He sure could tell some stories over the beer after dark. What a character!!!! Always remember, when you get where you're going, there you are!
  5. I got my local university library (Kansas State) to get me a copy of Skies Call 3 from another university library through their interlibrary loan dept. Of course I couldn't keep it but it was the only one I hadn't seen at the time, and I sure enjoyed it for the three weeks I had it. Might be a possibility for those just wanting to look them over.
