Carefull.... I have Sprint too,and you need to read your agreement closer. Vision for the phones now is different than the vision for anything that can be used as a modem. Anne, As much as I think every child needs attention, I have to agree with Dave on this one. Start with the Principal, and let him/her figure it out from there. Make it a point to quietly ask to see him in the hall (to not make a scene in class and give him what he wants, attention). Once in the hall, escort straight to the office.... See now why I love teaching K-3? My monday class is a 4-5 year old preschool Title-1 class (real school, not head start), and this being my second year teaching computers in that class...well, I love it enough to almost make me change my major from Elementary Ed to Early Childhood. It's not that big of a deal anymore. It's actually pretty quiet right now. In it heyday (worst of times???) it could have been best described as Bonefire and Speakers Corner combined (TalkBack) with one or two moderators commenting, but not actually doing anything. I disagree, John. Some institutions, sure, but using the word 'most' is just plain wrong. Drop down a division or two and open your eyes. You just might find a few excellent athletes that actually play because they love the game. Here is an example, quoted directly from the recruiting form on my campus at:http://www.uwsp.edu/athletics/recruits.htm How often do you see a Division III school on ESPN? I'll bet you'll find fewer than 2% bona-fide students in any Division I NCAA football or basketball squad. In most Div. I schools the head coach gets paid more than the university president. It's quite possible, John. I'm ot arguing division 1. I'm trying to point out that division one is NOT "most NCAA schools" as you stated. I personally resent being lumped into the same category as schools that pay recruiters more than Professors. I don't have the figures right in front of me, and I'm quite tired, much to tired to go searching for figures, but I'd be willing to bet that Division 1 schools are in the minority (in terms of numbers of campuses) when compared to Division 2 and up. Anyone care to try and prove me wrong? Like I said, there's some Division 1 schools out there that are bad, but don't knock down the entire NCAA because of it. It's your life, live it!
