Oh, a jumpsuit problem too? i've got one of them.... Launched a tube at Rantoul and was having a blast watching my altimeter go up to 11 grand then down to 5 grand and back up for some time (burbles on a tube are cool!). Tube broke apart and we got back together and I realized I had neglected to zip the legs of my jumpsuit. No biggie, until I'm under canopy.... What happens every time you tell yourself that a particular landing has to be perfect? There I was, under canopy setting up final in front of the landing cam with my nice, BRIGHT pink canopy, all the time thinking to myself "Gotta get this one perfect, that loose jumpsuit and metal zipper is gonna hurt if you don't...". Well, i didn't. I surfed it out a bit, a bit low, over corrected a tad bit, and ended up sliding on the exposed part of flesh on my left leg for a good distance, and ended up putting the right leg down a bit early. That caused a not-so-graceful double somersault in front of a bunch of people at registration AND the cam.... My buddies were watching, and gave me a few 9's and a 3 (cardboard signs). I've gotta go against the "normal" grain here and say #1 also. I like to stand out in a crowd, I guess. Hell, I've got a very pink Sabre, and even my Javelin I got a bit ago has Pink on it. Hell, when I manage to scrape enough $$$ for a new canopy, I'm making sure it's all neon colors, with liberal pink amounts! Kinda hard to miss me in the sky, and I'm gonna make it impossible! Well, at the Harvest Moon boogie I jumed with Quatoraze, Ganja, and one other guy i can't remember. 4 way free flown exit. Bacically I said I'm the new guy, come catch me, and out I went. Well, I guess I was still a floater on that jump. I watched Ganja coming at me, then right on by me. Try as I might, he just kept going and I couldn't keep up! I made it up later jumping with JimBo (bozo), Treetop, and Cazadora (WFFC "wet t shirt" winner). Jim drug me around the sky playing catch Cazadora, and then I somehow managed to go low. I guess that weekend taught me more about fall rate than any other jumps I had done. Embarrassing, sure. Fun, Fockin' A! It's your life, live it! I never saw the need to purchase the Pro version, so i'm unsure as to what other benefits you would get from it. Maybe someone else here knows. Zone Alarm is a software firewall. It actively blocks internet traffic in both direstions. Incoming traffic from unknown sources are blocked, and anything outgoing from your computer needs to have your permission first. It hides your computer from the net by masking it's ports. The router is a hardware firewall. It assumes your ip address for the internet, and assigns new, local addresses fr your home netwok, even if there is only one computer. It hides you from the internet by forwarding all net traffic only to the computers that have requested the info, and blocks the rest, since the blind stuff from the net only sees the router, and not the computer. Yea, personally, I'd go with Zone Alarm. It is an Awsome app! I used it here on my cable modem right up until I added my Linksys Router/4 port hub (is there an echo in here?). That's cleaned up? Wow! Sorted, i guess, but wow, I think that might take the prize for most desktop icons! FYI, IMO, that's a prize of shame.... Actually, i pretty impressed with what I see here. Lot's of cool backgrounds, some cluttered desktops, but most importantly, most of you have very little running in your taskbars....Well, except for TitaniumLegs....shit man, that's gotta slow your computer down to a crawl!!! The desktop is what you see on your computer screen when all the windows are closed and/or minimized, and the tackbar is the area down by the clock that show some of the programs running in memory.
