gear rat gear rat...oops sorry lost control for a sec ...just jealousy talking 2 complete rigs, for now. 2 video helmets, for now. 1 video cam (Sony TRV 19). 1 still cam (Canon EOS 850). 3 jumpsuits (1 is a Birdman, in avitar) 1 visual Alti (Altimaster Galaxy). 1 audible alti (Original Dytter). 1 visual/audible alti (Neptune). a dozen or so assorted goggles. No jumps since November. November was a dropped/floating hackey from wearing thick gloves and not having a good grip resulting in a reserve ride. Honestly scared me enough to ground myself until it's warm enough, or I'm in a warm enough place, to jump without thick gloves. It's your life, live it! No sitter here. I've prepared some home made spaghetti sauce. It's sitting in the slow cooker right now, simmering away. My wife gets home from work around 2:30. Dinner will be served around 4:30 for all of us. Yes, all 4 kids too. They are the reason, and the result, of love. Nope, no sitter for them, on this day. I'll be making some baked alaska for dessert, then we will play Monopoly. Around 6:30 or 7 I'll turn on the DVD player and start the Lion King 1 1/2. Around 9 the kids will be sound asleep, and the wife and I will retire to the master bedroom, where hours of passion await. No, that's not a dream, people, that's real.

Well, ok, not so mindless, but some drivel. I'll be going back over the road in the next 1-2 weeks, depending how long it takes the Oklahoma City terminal to get my truck prepped and shipped out to Chicago Heights. Soooo, in a few weeks, I'll be back in the warm lattitudes, and yes, the rigs and suits will be in the truck with me.....not to mention I'll actually have an income again. It's your life, live it! I have to add that the customer service from Klaus at Paralog is just as outstanding. He is incredibly fast with answers and help, and has addressed any and all bugs I found, usually within a day, sometimes even less. I say this as a beta tester for the software. I have not jumped since November (damn weather), and thus have not even bought a license yet. I will be buying one as soon as I get back in the air though. It's all $$$ related, not quality related. I'm working on it, Bo. Q3A supports multi processors, which is what I'm building (well, video editing is why I'm buliding it, but the Q3A is a nice side benefit).
