Dawn, this is the reason I don't do web design for a living (anymore). I did it a bit a few years ago, but soooo many people figured it was n't a vital bill to pay, I just gave up. One thing I DID do though, was replace the index.html file with a message about said site not paying their bills, and thus losing their web presence. Some of those index files might even still be out there. I still do some html, but it's for friends as quick 'throw together' sites, and I tell them I'll not update either. It's your life, live it! Somewhere in there will be at least a word (they hope) that will trigger a filter in someone email program to pull it into a different folder instead of staying in the inbox or junk mail folder. Example: Say I work for a company named Amazon.com I put "amazon" on a filter to put all emails containing that into a folder for the company, instead of missing them in the junk, or whereever they end up.
