I've got 80 g's in my house now, and it's a remodel job that I did myself, 2,100 sq ft worth, stripped to the studs. The labor alone would have killed me. while I agree about the doors, to an extent (I would request that the closet doors be sliding, not swinging in the master bedroom) the size is another issue. 12 x 12 is larger than a bunch of rooms now being built, and the master bedroom, even though it's the same physical size as the upstairs bedroom, will 'feel' bigger, due to the sloped ceiling in the upstairs bedroom. That said, to get a 3 bedroom 1370 square foot home built for under 150 grand nowdays is a feat in itself. Does this price include land, or maybe you might already own the land? The lot/land plays a HUGE factor in appraisal/resale value. EDIT: The land question was answered, and if that quote is 'built', I say go for it. It's your life, live it! Thanks Lisa. I'm confident I'll do well in all my exams this semester. Really. Next semester I decided to really test myself.... I'm taking PSYC331-Cognitive Psyc over winterim for 3 credits, and my spring semester is: Geography 101-5 credits Astronomy 311-3 credits Psychology 300-4 credits Statistical Psyc English 150-3 credits Education 205-2 credits Military Science 102-2 credits Total for winterim and spring - 22 credits. Total for Freshman year - 39 credits + summerim (I'll be taking 3-6 credits over the summer). At this pace, my double major, minus the student teaching, will be done in 3 years. I'm old (for a student), and of course I want out of here ASAP, unlike some 'career students' we know.... It's your life, live it!
