    Goddammit I KNEW someone was going to say something about that.. Suppose its best to get these things over with. Yes, the cartoon character held onto the PC too long. But wasn't it neat how the artist froze time 1) on the exit and 2) when the PC was extracted... but really didnt? Surreal. I like it.

    Pfft. People fear what they do not understand. How badly do you want your club to be recognized? As far as I'm aware, there are many skydiving clubs that are recognized by universities/colleges.

    I don't know for a fact if it was or wasn't despite common sense saying that yes of course there was some sort of small trade off. Either way, its the best thing that could have happened in the way of public image for MHSC right now. The world needs more smiles, less complaints.

    I do recall reading the part 16 complaint and thinking "Gee, those guys are getting screwed".. I'm REALLY happy to hear they will (presumably) start up again soon. I'd love to see the pacific northwest!

    Have you been through Guanella pass lately? They finished construction from Georgetown on up and now it's actually a pleasant drive more suited to an on-road vehicle

    Congrats .. And good thinking, picking a well traveled and relatively low risk 14'er. Happens every year in CO; 1) Someone runs their car into clear creek after a long night of drinking and gambling in Black Hawk 2) Someone gets killed on a blue run at a ski resort who in all probability had no business being on a blue run 3) Someone starts a trek up a 14'er (usually Long's Peak) too late in the day and either gets stuck or ends up getting struck by lightning during an afternoon storm above treeline. NO-ONE wants to be "that guy"

    "What happens if you hit a bird when you're skydiving?" Have there been any recorded incidents of a skydiver hitting a bird while in freefall?
