730pm MST here. It's about 3/4 of the way now. Can't get a good picture because of the street lights in my neighbourhood. Still looks pretty cool. The view off my deck has it in behind the skeleton of a rather tall maple tree. 'Shell

When my nephew was about 3 years old, he picked up the bad habit of repeating what his dad would say when he was "upset". So if my nephew dropped a toy off the table, out of his mouth would come "Oh, f@$K". We managed to get him to stop saying that and he adopted "DANG IT!" Try that.

Boy! THAT lit a fire! Going back to double-check I find that the links on skydiving.com take you directly to the real DZ's webpage. Even Kansas ones. This tells me that surely skydiving.com is NOT a Skyride scam? Something else, some known Skyride affiliates are NOT listed while some are... Whaddayathink? I'm sure she appreciated you helping out. There's a help line here for seniors that need their walks shoveled during the winter months. Probably due to the bylaw that says they have to be cleared within 48 hours of a snowfall or they can get fined. My father got dinged with that fine a few years ago when I was out of town. Wish he had a neighbour like you. 'Shell

As you can see I've already demolished a couple of feet. I'm committed to the rest. You're not committed. You've only demo'd a small portion. Fill that in with some concrete (quickcrete). Then, do what the boys have said and put a layer of thinset over the existing tiles and new concrete. Then tile over that. WAY easier than removing the entire area of tiles and going from there. Sorry, but I don't want the lip that high. It's chisel time! There is no easier way then. Have fun with that. And the dust and debris. Especially the dust! 'Shell

NO skydive.com is not skyride. Joe Jennings set it up to combat skyride and give dzs a different choice/ Like Ian has said, do NOT confuse this with Joe's site at skydive.com. The OP is citing skydiving.com - a COMPLETELY different website (and, perhaps, a Skyride site). 'Shell
