A friend of my dad's, who's an AMAZING craftsman when it comes to woodworking, came to see my dad today at work and gave him this. It's in honour of my dad and his family. His father was British, his mother was Irish and my dad was born here. The dark wood is Brazilian Rosewood, the light wood is a Maple Burl. I'm not sure what the other wood is because my dad can't remember, but he's going to ask him tomorrow. What a cool gift! My dad was floored that he took the time to do that! 'Shell

Or you could pop one of these up over your tent to protect it. We've done that on camping trips and it's worked well to keep both the heat of the sun and rain out of the tent. I bought some really pretty chinese lilies a week ago. Put them in a vase on the dining room table. Came home from work and Bug had knocked the vase over and ate all the lilies. But she left the stems. Next time she's looking for flowers to eat, I'm sending her to your place! 'Shell
