YIPPPPEEEEEEE! Okay, I'm sitting in my office, trying to act calm and collected. What I really want to do is a happy dance in the hallway. Go to the bathroom. Do it there! 'Shell

Not impossible. Canada got their first 3 goals in the 1st in a span of 2:27 ... But it doesn't matter anyway! WE WON WE WON WE WON! 'Shell
-
AWESOME penalty kill for Canada! And it's OVER! Canada takes Gold AGAIN!
-
1:48 left in the game. Russia's going on the PP AGAIN ... tripping call on Staal. Keep it together guys. Less than 2 to go! Russian net is empty. 6 on 4 hockey. Damn ... go guys go! Get an empty netter! 'Shell

I missed the misconduct call (video is halting on my computer every now and then) but apparently it was an elbow to the head so yes, I'd say it was legit. 6 minutes left in the 3rd. Hang on boys, hang on! 'Shell
-
Damn. Russia's going on the PP again. Edit to add: DAMN! We got a 2 minute minor AND a 10 minute game misconduct! Shit. Can't give Russia chances like that! 'Shell

I'm not sure. I don't have the sound on at my desk. Let me see if I can see if it's no longer Price in goal. Nope, Price is still in goal. Just over 8 minutes into the 3rd - still 4 to 2. Russia on the PP for another 45 seconds. 'Shell

Wimps. Am I reading the TSN updates correctly? Did we change goaltenders? I'm not sure. I don't have the sound on at my desk. Let me see if I can see if it's no longer Price in goal. 'Shell

There was a trip by a Russian player right at the end of the 2nd that the announcers thought might turn into a PP for Canada but it didn't. Guess they didn't want to deal with a revolution! 'Shell
-
No PP for Canada to start the 3rd. C'mon boys! Only 20 minutes to your 3rd straight gold medal!!! 'Shell
-
No shit. The Oilers were up 4-1 last night against Dallas nearing the end of the 2nd period and ended up losing in a shoot out after all was said and done (6-5 final). At least they did manage to tie it up with about 2 seconds left in the 3rd to go to OT. Go CANADA Go! 'Shell
-
Yep, 4-2 at the end of the 2nd but Canada should be starting out the 3rd on the power play. 'Shell 'Shell
-
Shit ... now it's 4-2 Canada. Russia scored with about 36 seconds left on the clock in the second. Keep it together boys!!! 'Shell

Burn! I KNOW!!! Just got that horrible news. What if it LOOKS like Canada with all our snow? Does that count? (Still, looks like a good website.) Can you get to the live scoreboard here http://tsn.ca/world_jrs/ It's updated every few minutes. 'Shell 'Shell

Karen, I'm so sorry about this and about Jeff's dog too. Tough decision to make but IMO, the best one for everyone involved. You'll get through it. Hugs to you both. 'Shell 'Shell

The FM transmitter I have works great on my iPod in my factory stereo in my Jeep (all those tunes you heard in Bryanada in LP this year). Much better than the cassette one I bought the first time around (trying to save $$ - so much for that!). I have this one from Griffin. As for mp3 players, I'm with iPod all the way. I just bought my nieces and nephews (all 4 of them) MPIO's for Christmas (to save $$ since I had to buy so many) it's been a real headache to get them to work on my Mac despite the fact they said they were Mac compatible (still waiting on the firmware update from them). They have PC's at home but they prefer to do their music thing here. According to them (and me), my Mac is better. Hmm .. might be some truth to those Mac/PC commercials about Mac's being for kids. My heart goes out to all of you today. I was lucky enough to meet Tom in LP this year and spend time with him in Byranada. From asking him to move his tent so we could setup the kitchen, to having him save my blown out flip flop with shoe goop, to being able to count on him to be my "Sunscreen Guy", he did it all with a smile. I can see him doing a cute little dance through camp with the music playing in the background and when the girls all came by on Saturday night for Choir practice, he was there walking around all "charming" with a plate full of hors d'oeuvres (they were good, BTW, Tom, even though you said they were probably lousy). Hugs and love to all of you today. Canada weeps too. 'Shell 'Shell

Very yummy and very easy (kind of like me, I guess ) Michelle's Fabulous Breasts 3 or 4 chicken breasts, cut in half 1/4 cup melted butter 3 tablespoons dijon mustard (I like to use the Old Style) 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons dried tarragon 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (the juice of one fair sized lemon will do it!) Preheat oven to 375oF Melt the butter. Add the mustard, salt, tarragon and lemon to the melted butter. Heat in the microwave until bubbling. Stir well. Place a small amount of the butter mixture on the bottom of a shallow casserole dish. Put breasts on top. Pour remaining butter mixture over breasts and bake for about 45 minutes (or until done). Serve with risotto or rice and spoon remaining sauce over chicken and risotto. YUMMY!!! 'Shell

Chicken breasts baked in a tarragon, lemon, mustard and butter sauce ("Michelle's Fabulous Breasts" if you must know the name of the recipe! ), risotto and a spinach salad with homemade vinegrette. Yummy! 'Shell 'Shell
