Best video ever! This is how I hope to go into my AFF training! I am yet again in New Hampshire this weekend at the Sky Venture wind tunnel. I have 30 min scheduled through out the weekend. I am planning on hitting the wind tunnel up here every two weeks for about 30 minutes until the weather is nice enough at home to start AFF. This video gets me excited for spring! Welcome! Where are you doing you IAF? I too am from PA and can't wait for warmer weather to Start my IAF/AFF Training again. Although I am from the North west region of the state so weather is always colder and we get more snow there. Are you currently doing your training or has the weather shut you down as well? I'm kind of in the same boat as you are. I live in north west pennsylvania and its been snowing on and off the last couple of days. But as you are, I am so anxious to start my IAF/AFF training that I too was thinking of using some of my vacation days up after the first of the year and go somewhere like Florida or Arizona to do training. Not sure yet so I'll have to wait and see what the next 2 months bring me. Lovin every second of it!

+1 on what NWFlyer said. What are the types of foods you are eating? I can tell you from my experience with something similar, I thought I was eating healthy but it turns out I just wasn't getting enough micronutrients. This time last year I was always getting sick. It seemed to be the same sicknesses time and time again. Sinus infections, bronchitis, strep throat, colds. I also had all kinds of blood tests done. And like you, always normal and healthy levels of everything. I went as far as have HIV tests and such just to rule out everything, thats how often I was getting sick. It seemed like every other week. This is what helped turn my health around, Juicing. Yes I said juicing. I bought, of all things, a Jake Lalanne juicer and started juicing twice a day. With juicing your packing in so many healthy micronutrients your immune system has no choice but to be boosted! I juice all kinds of stuff, cucumbers, spinach, apples, parsley, oranges, lemons, lettuce, kale, carrots, celery, ginger, the list just goes on and it tastes great. there are tons of recipes online. On top of that I started exercising 4 to 5 times per week and when eating other meals during the day I made sure to have some sort of fruit or veggie with it. Since I started I've lost 70 pounds and actually starting to see definition in my abs that I haven't seen since high school. Theres a great website that you can check out and watch a free documentary thats about 90 min on how juicing has help many people with various weight problems and just general overall health. Its www.fatsickandnearlydead.com. I thinks it worth at least taking a look into it if nothing else. I hope this helps and I hope the best for you in your search for good health. Thats the goal man! The heights thing and jumping from the plane was never a problem for me. I loved just about every part of it except the hard landings...go figure! I actually just booked another 30 minutes of tunnel time two weeks from now. Can't wait to get back in there and I'm taking my 12 year old daughter with me this time for some time in the tunnel. I thinks she's gonna love it! Lovin every second of it!

Well I did my first tunnel time this weekend and it was awesome! By Sunday I was pretty dang stable and could fly around the tunnel belly flying. I can do turns left and right, 180's, 360's, fly higher, fly lower, forwards and backwards! I had so much fun I can't wait to go back. Next time its a little fine tuning and then hopefully start learning how to back fly. My goal is to get trough all of that and learn how to sit fly pretty proficiently by the time spring rolls around and I start AFF. I forgot how much fun this was and I can't get enough!! I have 45 minutes booked over Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of this week in New Hampshire. It is expensive but I've mentally committed to making skydiving the #1 hobby in my life. Super pumped for this weekend! Have to work tomorrow and then its off to NH for the weekend!! Lovin every second of it!

Yep its all coached time. I'm looking to get as far as I can in the time I have booked for the three days. My main goal was to just freshen up on being stable and then I thought to myself, if I'm driving all that way up there to do this then I might as well plan my whole weekend around it! I usually pick things up fairly quickly so I'm excited to see what I can do! Lovin every second of it!

I live in a small town called Clarion. It's about 45 min north east of Pittsburg. I do however work on the road for my job. Right now my project location is Wilmington Delaware. Not sure what's around that area. I am interested in hitting one of those wind tunnels but not sure where the closest one is, so ill have to do some researching. Thanks for the info guys. Hey everyone, my name's Joe and I'm new to the forum. I'm checking this place out because I'm thinking of...No I am going to get back into Skydiving this coming spring. I haven't jumped in years and I only have had 6 jumps, 2 tandem and 4 AFF. I stopped going 1. because at the time I wasn't making enough money, and 2. I kind of psyched my self out the last time I jumped. On my release jump I guess I was doing the wrong input and spinning in the left direction really fast and couldn't stop it. My instructor had to swoop in and stop me from spinning twice. Then on the same jump I flared to late and ended up spraining both of my ankles. Its been probably 9 years since I've jumped and I have thought about doing it again at least a couple of times every month all year every year since then. I want to get back into really bad but wondering if there's somethings I should study this time or read about before just diving into the deep end again(No pun intended)? I live in Pennsylvania so there's no DZ's open here until next spring. I guess i'm also asking if there's anything I can practice to make things easier when I do get the chance to get to a DZ? Or if anybody has any advice on when the right time to flare is? Thanks guys looking forward to talking with some of you and any advice is greatly appreciated. Lovin every second of it!
