Anyone knows where i can get hold of one? Cheers
-
Is that right? Only asking 'cause i have a 2001 Speed reserve 170 which sort of packs like a 170...

While i don't know it for sure 100%, i recall that the Nitro is a german made canopy (hiper) that was also manufactured through license by hiperusa and PA (nitron). That PR site linked above seems to be live and updated last month, and then there's also the original german 'brand'. Worth a try contacting them if you are after info http://hipercanopies.com/contact/

There is this http://www.pr-nitro.de/

Reserve handle - ring or pillow and why?
GoneCodFishing replied to chuckakers's topic in Safety and Training
The flak you are getting is for the assumption that you'd hold the d-ring like a pillow. Is that how you were taught? Nice vid showing the way here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YD1we-F9-3c&t=116s -
Reserve handle - ring or pillow and why?
GoneCodFishing replied to chuckakers's topic in Safety and Training
For me it's a matter of fumbliness to snagginess balance (you heard those words here first). I'd rather fumble than snag the cutaway handle, ergo pillow. I'd rather snag than fumble the reserve handle, ergo ring. Simple -
Alright, i thought that was pretty standard. It is under BPA.

Don't you have over there also a 'rule' that if you have an AAD in your rig it must be turned on and fully working?
-
Banging the head on exit? Passing out from last night's hangover? Camera flyer on a tandem only load getting kicked in the face by the TI? Mad skillz inducing enough G's to knock you out before you get a chance to chop? Perfect chance to spend hard earned cash in shinny kit? Plenty of reasons why an AAD could be a good idea

WARNING, Maximum exit weight. Is it really?
GoneCodFishing replied to Reddog75's topic in Safety and Training
Do yourself a favour and upsize your reserve as well, pronto. You say you pull high, and that's kosher, but if you get span up good in your 1.6 loaded main and take a bit too long to cut it you'll find yourself low on the saddle, possibly landing off, and effectively downsizing to a reserve loaded at 1.8 which you probably haven't jumped before. Definitely not an ideal situation... -
Clicking through here http://www.dropzone.com/dropzone/Europe/United_Kingdom/index.html it seems to list aircraft, though not sure how up to date that is

Still there. One of the few planes where wearing a parachute is as much for in-air safety more so than for the actual jump when you finally get to altitude.

True that.

This may answer a few questions http://vimeo.com/97406077

Yeah, and the suits' pics in the front page are ripped straight from the internet, and they are Parasport, Intrudair and Sonic
-
Seeing as the product photos on the website are ripped from other manufacturer's sites with a touch of photoshop added to them i'd be very wary...
-
Right, that last exit it really is you as TI. I get it now. You still a psycho though.
-
It took me a while to figure out why you wrote in the vid "now my worst exit ever" and your (the videoguy's) exit seemed normal, and then it clicked. Dude, you opened a youtube account with the TI's name, called it "Tyler drunkenboy", and you are pretending the TI himself uploaded and edited the vid? You really are a psycho
-
LOL! Well spotted

You doing it the other way around!!! When you are riding the rodeo bull on a tube 3 the sure fire way to stop the mambo is to get in box position. Nice and stable. Anyway, probably Andi is talking about the Tube4 which is a different beast altogether, or maybe he is thinking about a tunnel specific suit?.
