I live in the middle of a large urban area, a mile from the center of the city. When I first bought my house, there was a cute little bar called Brick's that was just on the opposite corner with a sign saying they showed the local football games on Sundays. My girlfriend and I thought it was cute - our own little neighborhood Cheers. My mom came over one Sunday and her and my girlfriend went there to watch the game while I was getting a refrigerator delivered, and I joined them afterwards. When I walked in, I was immediately scanned head to toe by every other man at the bar. I'm really surprised the punishment for virus writers is so lame. If someone steals millions from a company in white-collar-type crime, they typically get jail sentences for many years.
