  1. Having just downloaded the Doom 3 Demo, it occurs to me that Wal Mart resembles the evil UAC company in the storyline...
  2. We tried as a country to outlaw alcohol. It did not work.
  3. I hope YOU don't have a victim complex, unlike others who shall remain nameless. Being thin-skinned will not benefit you here. This is as close to cold reality as dz.com gets.
  4. I don't watch it, but I'm taping it for a friend who's TDY.
  5. The soundtrack to Robert Rodriguez's Once Upon a Time in Mexico. I like basically everything except bubblegum pop and Country.
  6. This -was- the second chance See the little red pillow handle on your right side? PULL IT!
  7. Agreed. Sometimes you're the dog, sometimes you're the fire hydrant...

  9. You've obviously not been to 98% of the other web boards on the WWW if you think we're judgemental.
  10. "Discourage Inbreeding. Ban Country music."
  11. You'll loathe PI attorneys until you need the services of one. Then they'll be a godsend. (see also Law enforcement officers)
  12. A good site dujour: http://www.fuh2.com/
  13. Heh. Acutally I was the good boy until my Junior year of College. Was a late bloomer, but made up for lost time. Was on the hot-streak of a lifetime until I met the love of my life.
  14. Because a lot of good girls think that if they hang around/shag the bad boy, it makes them bad girlz by proxy. It's living dangerously, vicariously. Your daughter excepted, but as Morpheus said "Fate is not without a sense of Irony." The Bad boy runs a higher risk of giving lil Suzy either a screaming, diaper-shitting fuck trophy, or a scortching case of some incurable STD. Poetic justice for all of us guys that were considered "too nice" while growing up.
  15. What are you driving while you're doing this? A 1977 Jeep CJ7 that's far more capable, gets better milage, even with a 304 under the hood, made of solid US steel, and with a roll cage rated to industrial strength.
  16. non sequitur Blues, Dave ...Albeit accurate, as Narci takes any opportunity to complain how "The Man" is keeping people down.
  17. Yes, took a yearlong break to build a jeep & pay more attention to my girl. Money was a factor also. Needed to not blow every cent on jumping-had a house to take care of, as well as the cost of buying washer/dryer/laptop. I'm sure that with a few coached jumps I'll shake off some rust. It's a passttime, not a lifestyle.
  18. I guess it's just less subtle in the younger guys. They looked so frustrated it was hilarious... Wait...You're right--what's the diff?
  19. This and last weekend must be prom season. Around 130am last Saturday, as we were at the 24hr restaurant in ABQ, a legion of teenagers come in in tuxedos and cocktail dresses. Then this past Saturday, as a friend and I were having sushi, another gaggle of kids similarly clad, comes in. Goddamn I feel old, and It's only been 10 years. The funny part was the palpable sense of desperation that the guys were giving off at 0130, an almost painful need to close the deal with their little sweethearts before the sunrise. Heh. Prom season always reminds us of how awkward and silly HS was/can be. Thank god for Alcohol.
  20. "This just in: Two giant airborne diaphragms were seen having three-way sex with an unnamed mountain. Film at eleven."
  21. That's really fucked up. Who's the DZO? Joseph Goebbels?
