Yes, took a yearlong break to build a jeep & pay more attention to my girl. Money was a factor also. This and last weekend must be prom season. Around 130am last Saturday, as we were at the 24hr restaurant in ABQ, a legion of teenagers come in in tuxedos and cocktail dresses. Then this past Saturday, as a friend and I were having sushi, another gaggle of kids similarly clad, comes in. Goddamn I feel old, and It's only been 10 years. The funny part was the palpable sense of desperation that the guys were giving off at 0130, an almost painful need to close the deal with their little sweethearts before the sunrise. Heh.
