Wing loading is for landing info not openings. You will find this hard to believe but: if you double the wing load you will only increase the opening force by 10%. This guy has a line dump problem. If a canopy opens soft once all one needs to do is control the variables and it will open soft every time. I was just refrencing sarcasim again,... the PD chart starts off with: "Student, Novice, Int., Adv., Exp., MAX" This here is a case of an individual using a canopy, who is by --- declaring his wing loading--- that he is not just a bigginner, not just an advanced or expert canopy pilot, BUT HE IS OFF THE CHART GOOD, this kid is soo hot of a canopy pilot he has decided to use a combination of his own choosing that is off the chart so to speak, this expert however can also post utube vids of someone just clearing a BARBED WIRE FENCE BY LIFTING HIS FEET AND THEN ROLLING/ CRASHING ON A ROAD...(the comment then was and this is a direct quote from another post>>>> "How do I extend the glide of my Spectre??????????" On the utube site, in spanish, someone also makes refrences that they "really came close to 'objects' in their helecopter,..." O'h boy they can also hit shit with a rented helo??? And now our expeert shows up here with thousands of jumps??? and asks the simplist of questions that with a wing loading of 1.57 he dosen't know and is covered ad nasuatum elswhere....? And the response is.....wait hold your breath,...... More than a few individuals start bashing a canopy that they know little about???? This is my advice...YOU ASKED "BLENDERPILOT" AND HERE IS MY ANSWERE IN RESPONSE TO YOUR QUESTION: retake an aff class, you need (basic) help... Learn how to fly a landing pattern... Upsize immediatly to something in the novice category... Give up helecopters as well, untill you grow up... Ditch the fucking go pro... stop showing us how stupid yo are, ie ask for help rather than what yuo are doing... take some packing lessons, with different instructors.... Stop bashing PD by making the suggestion of/by some unknown person suggests changing the slider size... read the PD hard opening paper... A more esteemed gentleman has already answered your question about inspections of equipment....my only contribution is it's more than a little scaareey that you asked... I only point out the last one about equipment because in your original post you clearly indicate you have been "advised," and instead of following that advice, you yet again ask for some unknown persons, advice, that being us here on the internet???, I suppose it's a good thing your getting lots of advice but I think you need advice on whos's advice you should be following, ??? Is there anyone out there who can give advice on following advice??? Yes I completly agree that the slider should be changed, something to about the size of a 200 or 220 cubic inch navigatior, untill your landing pattern skills, judgment, and common sense can be repeatedly and reliably demonstrated, untill then take your jumping elswhere, or put up with my suggestions, suck it up , learn something, and we can start over... or your free to just go to another dz???? But what do I know, "I only have one tandem jump."

What the fuck??? Stop jerking us around... Some of you out there will immediatly understand my response, some of you may even take the time to check the PD chart after checking the published wing loading the op has given... But what do I know, "I only have one tandem jump."

What aircraft incident are you referring to at Lodi? Does this mean you won't jump at Perris, either? Here is a nice link to a non-usa .gov site that list's the AD's for the DH-6. The FAA upon reviewing the aircraft in questions' maintenance log book was unable to find a log entry for a required visual inspection. If you examine the ad list you will also see that many of the "required" ADs' have been cancelled! The FAA usa list has more than this overseas list it's just that this site is more understandble... http://services.casa.gov.au/airworth/airwd/schedules/ad_display.asp?sched=under&toc=dhc-6 Anyone is free to do a search for FAA actions, I reccommend anyone who is interested do same, as compared with speading misinformation and inuendo... If you search the US FAA site, the manufacturer is Viking, not deHavalland or Hawker Sid.. But what do I know, "I only have one tandem jump."

Hey zekeallmon, just know that if your not happy the fine folks at Bev land will always be there to help with modifications and assistance if you have any issues!! Hey williammonk, can you help the guy out?? Why aren't yo answereing the ops' question? Did you make any attempt at resolving this "problem" with the fine folks at Bev Suits, before posting here??? THIS IS YOUR QUOTE: "I'm not trying to bash BevSuits, but my experience with them was not good. When I spend top dollar on a suit, I expect quality. I didn't find it here." If your not trying to "bash BevSuits," then what the fuck are you trying to do? But what do I know, "I only have one tandem jump."

"(YOU) make regular trips from Hollister to Perris"? You must like driving... Is Gerado your other name??? C In the last month, you have bashed square one, Bev suits, and in the same breath you call yourself a skydiver at 25 jumps??? And in the same breath you freely admit you don't know jack shit about jumpsuits.... and you freely admit you like to shop to try on stuff and then go elswhere, how about supporting your local store? You are fucking user and a waste of my time... Additionally you can't size a container main combination yourself... You also list your self as a coach on one post? Feel free to explain this one... I can't find your name in the pilots (AOPA database)? feel free to explain that as well... You a fucking add for stupidity... If you can't take a little constuctive comment then take up knitting, although I'm sure you have comments about the ends of the knitting needles being too pointy... I also did a search for your name Next time you try to bullshit your way into other idiots here on dz . com beliving your sarcastic and bullshit prose, you might try listing your lic number, cause I can't find it??? I will give ya this though,...your spelling is better than mine, i'll give ya that! But what do I know, "I only have one tandem jump." -

Kinda like when you're a complete asshole, and then you explain that you're not really being an asshole? Ok, fine, what do you tell someone that wants to drag a six year old girl to a place where the average temp can reach 105, in the shade, for a week??? While I try to get my "B" lic as fast as I can???? This is a recipie for marital bliss?? Seen way to many well intentioned people try to do it all, and the end result is not being anywheeere remotly sucsessfull at anything... C But what do I know, "I only have one tandem jump." -

I think the point Quag has raised,... "How can a DZ require you to equip a Certificated Reserve with a Non-Certificated device that might fowl that device?" Mr. John Sherman's Quote, as well,... is what has been raised, thanks once again to the kid who is making backyard canopies and ground launching from his bumper.... WHY isn't the cutter assembly located on the pack tray so that in case it "fowl" ('s) the reserve pin still functions??? I may not have enough time to pull the reserve, and this may be a moot discussion, but I certianly don't like thinking that my aad could lock up my reserve, even if it turns out the physics are not in my favor! (considering an activation alt of 600 feet, I can't react that fast...) How about instead of a cutter we have an "cypres" release instead of the "cypres" washer???
