I was thinking about today's post in Incidents. Why do we have a separate cutaway handle? If we're doing CReW or jumping HP canopies, some people may prefer not to deploy their reserve immediately on cutting away. Also, we may want to cut away our main on the ground. So here's my question. Why not rout the cutaway cables both to the cutaway handle AND the reserve handle? The cutaway handle would work the same as always. The reserve handle would work like an SOS handle, both cutaway and reserve ripcord. Is there any reason why this should not be done? -- Toggle Whippin' Yahoo Skydiving is easy. I am not very familiar with Christian scripture, and I will not insult the people that study it by attempting to quote it. However, the eulogy of many people here, if read by that priest, will consist of nothing but stories of shameless debauchery. Does that mean that the lives of those people were full of terrible evil? It just means that the priest does not understand the lifestyle of the person in question. I put into doubt that Jesus Christ and his Father will not understand that same lifestyle. It's not our place to judge, and the priest did just that. Having said that, I'm not a big fan of institutional religion. That was exactly my point. I hear the word "discrimination" being used on American media as if it was a curse. It's not. It means to make a selection based on a factor. If that factor is justified, then discrimination is not Discrimination, if you know what I mean. Justified factors include young/old age and mental conditions.
