I tried to do some paragliding in CA last July but never quite got the hang of ground handling (kiting), the winds we're up the whole tome I was there so that didn't help . I 'll probably try it again this summer. Hang gliding is alot of fun , In Fl we tow them to alt with an ultralight . Towing is fun too. Sometimes a little scary on launch . I still like skydiving the best . Jay

This is some funny shit!! Everytime I've been looking at the threads today and pass the title "I CUT MY NUTS" I'm fallin outta my chair . The lady working across from me keeps asking what I'm laughin at . I should just say "I CUT MY NUTS" . Thanks for all the laughs , but do yourself a favor and get some trimmers or maybe go to a day spa and get some chick to do it . Whatever you do just be careful man. Jay

My first jump was s/l a Palatka Paracenter . I think it was 1982. Did like 5 s/l amd then some hop n pops. Then I didn't jump for a while . Then went to Lakewales when it first opened and took the aff course.

Ahh so it was a strato star that only had 5 cells, and way long lines. Thanks for posting that . i love to look at that old stuff .

the add says no reserve, I wonder what's stuffed in there . What does a Strato Cloud look like ? Is it that 5 cell square . I think I might pick that up and have a couple more cells sewn on there and have me a vintage high performance parichute(would that be strato flyer) . Anyway I wont it and I think I'm gonna git it.

Toyoyas, hondas, vw's and mazda all will run for a really long time even if you don't take care of them .Something to check out on all these frontwheel drive cars is the CV joints especially in the older ones . Volvo's are pretty reliable too , I have a 1986 volvo thats got around 250,000 miles on it and it takes my broke ass anywhere I need to go with no problems ever. Good luck!! Jay

no funny names in the family but at my old job we a customer whose name was Dick Eaton. The first time I ever heard of him was a sales rep call he says" hey Jay ,what do ya know about Dick Eaton?" I said "Not a damn thing , what about you." We laughed about that for quite a while.

Out my front door is just a small yard with no grass and some cars and the road , out back there is a fenced in back yard with an orange tree WOOHOO!! I think I need to move.

yeah, there has been a few of those and it's always been cool . Sometimes though you'll get that call and you just got something else goin on . Then you still have to listen to " oh so what ARE you doing?" But since there's no commitment there shouldn't be any problem being honest , if your out with someone other girl or just havin a beer with the guy's . Damn, I just don't see a downside.

I have been reading The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind, The First book is called Wizards First Rule . If you like fantasy this is a must read. I'm on the sixth book and have not been able to put them down , It's excellent. Jay

I hope that anyone with an interest is welcome to post on dz.com . I myself have not made a jump in about a month for personal reasons and it makes me a bit nuts but i know I'll get back to it. I also know several people that no longer skydive at all but are very cool people , ya wouldn't want to leave em out would ya. Oh, Sorry but i don't have any nekkid pictures of myself. But I do log on almost every single day since i found out about this site . It's the best and really enjoy it. Jay

I made my first jump at Palatka, and then like ten more there after that . I haven't been there since like 1991 and the bunker was in disrepair then too. It was a very cool place to hang out I'll have to get back there sometime. Jay
