I have lost one very close friend and 2 aquaintances to skydiving, I'm very glad that I was not there to witness any of them, I think about them everyday with very fond memories. I hope I never have to witness anyone goin in, it's not cool and I think you owe everyone an apology for posting such shit!!

oh yeah!! I've gotten a phone call from buddies when I'm already at work and they were gettin ready to go to the DZ. I suddenly felt ill and had to leave right away. Actually it's not such a bad idea, I think I feel an illness coming on right now.....hmm.

I just wanted to post a quick hello to everyone, I have been away from the forums and from jumping for almost 2 years now but would like to get back to both. Hopefully I will be around Z-hills ,Skydive Tampabay and Lake Wales this summer provided I can get my finances together. I'm looking forward to chatting with you all on the forums too. Yeah.. Bluegrass is alot of fun. My dad just had a party last weekend and that's pretty much all we did was play bluegrass. We had like three guitars ,a banjo, a flute,a Dobro(sp) and some hand drums. It was a blast. Check out a band called Nickel Creek if you get a chance. Also, there are alot of really cool bands that aren't that well known like Red Headed Step Child and Snake Oil Medicine Show. A good place to find some of these and others is to look up Bluegrass festivals on the net and if the band has a website there is usually a link from the festival site. JAy

you could always just ask him if he has any interest in making a jump. If he says yes then you could be fairly sure he would appreciate your most generous gift.

i always hit the snooze button at least 3 times a day. Somedays I really just need to get right up and have that extra time to do something but it doesn't work out , I still snooze 3 times. JAy

I live about 45 min. from Skydive City and about 1.5 hrs from Lakewales . I wish I lived closer because I would go out ALOT more. It would be nice to get off work and be able to make a sunset load during the week. JAy

Ok, thanks for the reply. I don't know that I would actualy make it out there or not. But if I ever find myself in that area I may check it out. It would be cool to know if they still jump there. Thanks for the spelling correction too.. Jay

When I was a kid my uncle lived in Nevada , somewhere near Reno. Just down the road from his house there was a dropzone and i used to go down there and watch people land. This was the first place that I ever saw anyone skydiving. I think it was called Sted. This was around 1979, I was wondering if anyone knows if that place is still around. It would be fun to go make a jump there someday if it is. Jay

I was gonna say tetris too. I still play it. I've got an old portable version that everybody that sees it has to play. It just kinda sucks you in.

Well, If ya really wanna "throw a fart" you'll need some sort of containment for it while it passes through the air. A "throw" pillow works quite well. Just rip one while your sitting on it and let it sink in for a moment, then throw it at your targets face and it will release the odor at impact. usually works pretty well as long as it's a potent fart

Hey I use the candles sometimes too. They're pretty cool, you can hear them crackeling in your ear while they suck out all the wax. I get them at this health shop by my house and they call them ear cones. They work really good actually.
