I pretty consistently dream of malfunctions and cutaways at the moment. I think it has to do with the fact that I really, really hate my job and am fairly depressed and miserable during the week. On the other hand, maybe its good training..... Jess Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....

Thanks jumperpaula-was the 150 scarey? I started using a Sabre 170 this weekend and it was different enough to make me happy but not enough to scare me. Its much easier to land, although its still big enough that if its windy I don't get a whole lot of drive. I'm going to use a 170 for the next 5 or 6 weeks until the container for my 150 get here. 1:4:1 One set of "new" rental gear more appropriate to my size (YEAY!) landed standing up on the first try. Also one hour spent in the back of a King Air looking for a hole in the clouds. 4 jumps. 1 case of beer which I still owe for landing out after looking for a hole for an hour. As little as possible . I will honestly make maybe 50 jumps (tops) on it. I bought a 150 but I'm using a 195 right now and I want something in the middle for a few months. I'm a lightweight so the 150 is still conservative but I like walking and I'm cautious. Jess Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....

Did they really change the A license jump requirement to 25 jumps, or was it just voted on? I searched the USPA website but couldn't find it. Also, does anyone in Hawaii want to let me pack their rig for them until mine gets here, hehe? Jess Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
