What are the facts concerning this fatality? Anybody jumping this size reserve at anywhere from 180lbs to the max exit weight had better be sure of two things they do not come down under it unconscious and they better be damn good at landing one! -
I jumped my Delta II in the same piggyback that I used for my PC but I can't remember if it was tight or loose.

Well, I can see that nothing I say will be of any consequence but the truth remains that the family unit is the backbone of civilization and that is only accomplished by a heterosexual relationship. I can see absolutely NOTHING good coming from two men or two women together in a relationship raising children.

I quote "society". That implies a multitude of people and damn sure not by IVF, adoption and surrogate. You may get a few dozen but you are NOT going to build a society using that means.

It has been about 10 years since this topic started and as far as I can see nothing has surfaced about a new AAD for sport parachuting. Is the OP of this thread a corp. officer of FXC company? There is a newish AAD for the military referred to as the EEAAD but as far as my research has taken me nothing has surfaced about one for sport jumpers.

The reason I am going to great lengths is that I have not jumped in years (read my first post) and wish to start again, I only have a few jumps on squares and I wish to be entirely cognizant of the new way reserves are setup, the way totals are addressed now withs the RSL and MARD is very different than when I stopped jumping.

Yes, the Devil is in the details with that setup and requires careful attention that's why I wanted to obtain as much info as possible on the operation of that system.

I wanted to know (I went to the Velocity site to find out) the exact sequence of events that take place when there is a MARD and AAD in place.

I had a malfunction similar to this, I was jumping a Stratostar at Elsinore with a borrowed rig that was too lose on me, the reserve handle fell out of the pocket and the pin worked its way out of the reserve. The reserve was a 26 Lo-Po and fell down and inflated behind me, I watched it fully inflate behind the stratostar and when it bumped the main I cut the main away. It was a non-event but in retrospect I could see where it could get real bad.

I can see it plain as day, he may have broke wrists after the pic but as i have it it is an 11 man.

I have that pic. it is an 11 man with one person about to break wrists and three more on approach. Actually 4 danglers.
