  1. Christians worship him as the Son of God, Muslims revere him as the most special Prophet of God. Christians belive in the miracles he perfomed, so do Muslims. Christians belive that he died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead and accended to heaven. Muslims belive he somehow escaped crucifiction because God loved him so much he would never have crucified him, they belive he accended to heaven. Both belive we are living in an escatalogical age and he will return on the day of judgement when man will be judged and either saved or sent to hell. Jesus knew what he had started, he did not come here to bring peace but to turn his followers against each other. Not Peace but Division (Luke 12, 49:53) 49"I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! 50But I have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is completed! 51Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. 52From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. 53They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law." And some people still doubt the bible. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  2. I'm not blaming them for natural disasters, I'm saying that just because their culture is different from mine I don't belive that mine is superior to theirs (unlike some people around here). I'm also responding to PJ when I say that it's not my place to judge their culture or beliefs. 5. Its not my place to judge these people or their culture. I'm just saying the way it is, life is hard and in such countries life is cheap. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  6. Thats irresponsible I feel. I am for informed consent and I don't belive that women going for abortion often get the details. However on the side of a truck like that is simply irresponsible. 7. In a country where there is no pension people rely on their children to look after them in old age, the infant mortality rate is high in the developing nations and so the more children people have the more likely they are to have some survive into adulthood to take care of them. Draught and starvation are not always there in a country so how are these people often uneducated, to know that in two years the crops will fail or some psycho dictator will come to power and wreck a country and let the people starve? Try understanding life from a non american point of view when discussing other continents. Neccesity for these people is knowing some of their children will most likely die but knowing if they don't have them then when they are old they won't be able to survive themselves. That is neccesity. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca

  11. Oooooooh! As there are over 58 Million Obese people in the US even if we take your figure of 14m being down to a Thyroid problem it is still fair to say the vast majority. http://www.winltdusa.com/about/infocenter/healthnews/articles/obesestats.htm Also your genetic argument doesn't hold water. For example. BTW I wouldn't go throwing the baby out with the bath water if I were you I'd get that 'misfuckingdignosis' of multiple personality disorder reviewed as raised TSH, low titre thyroglobulin antibodies and antithyroid peroxidase antibodies are not a indicator of MPD. 21. One doesn't have to sacrifice good nutrition or starve oneself (which as you pointed out doesn't work well in the longer term anyway). As you also correctly pointed out if you take in more than you burn off you will put on weight and the converse is also true. One can place themselves in deficit and they will loose weight (I'm not talking about medical exceptions here) fat people will have a slower metabolism and often a slower transit rate but this increases with exercise and healty eating. The majority of people could loose weight if they took the above steps and made a real effort. It does take work but it is pretty straight forwards.
