  1. That was a question I was asking myself not too long ago. I'm not very well versed on the action, as it were, between the UK, Ireland, Northern Ireland. Is this a flare up, or have things been popping on and off consistently all these years? Things have got worse recently but terrorism has been muted but continued all be it at a lower level over the last eight years. The simmering tension is palpable if you spend any amount of time in Northern Ireland. Former memebers of the Provisional IRA have either turned to non political organised crime or have become 'social or community workers'. Having said that 15 PSNI (Police) families had to move in one year alone due to the detectionn of targeted intelligence gathering on them by PIRA. The 'Real IRA' (RIRA) and 'Continutiy IRA'(CIRA) and others have continued to plant small but effective devices under the cars of police officers. Punishment shootings have continued and so have the beatings in paramillitary controled areas. 2. The leader of the nationalist SDLP, Mark Durkan, condemned the "murderous" attacks. "Those who committed it are steeped in the mindset and means of past violence," he added. "They need to understand this is not an attack on British army but the Irish people who have voted for and value above all else peaceful politics and democratic accommodation." In 2008, dissident republicans attempted to kill PSNI officers during separate incidents in Derry City and Dungannon, Co Tyrone. Security forces defused a 300lb (136kg) bomb in Castlewellan, Co Down, close to a barracks in February 2009. Will be interesting to see how Sinn Fein deal with this. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca

  5. You're living in the past, your country was once great but not any more, just like Great Britain once had an Empire... Its gone and the USA has had its day also. You now have a Socialist President and he was voted in by the people who were sick of the semi fascist Neo Cons. The fact is that there are many countries in the world that have first class Nationalised Healthcare systems (Including the NHS) If the USA is lucky they may well join the club. You also are living in a dream world if you think that the USA has the best Healthcare in the world. Acording to the the World Health Organizations 2000 analysis of the world’s health systems. 1 France 2 Italy 3 San Marino 4 Andorra 5 Malta 6 Singapore 7 Spain 8 Oman 9 Austria 10 Japan 11 Norway 12 Portugal 13 Monaco 14 Greece 15 Iceland 16 Luxembourg 17 Netherlands 18 United Kingdom 19 Ireland 20 Switzerland 21 Belgium 22 Colombia 23 Sweden 24 Cyprus 25 Germany 26 Saudi Arabia 27 United Arab Emirates 28 Israel 29 Morocco 30 Canada 31 Finland 32 Australia 33 Chile 34 Denmark 35 Dominica 36 Costa Rica 37 United States of America 38 Slovenia 39 Cuba 40 Brunei 41 New Zealand Interesting that most of the countries in fromt of the USA have socialised Healthcare. http://www.photius.com/rankings/healthranks.html When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. 9. The answer is simple. The one with the most urgent clinical need that will respond to treatment. Making a decision based on nationality and ability to pay is a symptom of a facist society. 10. yes on an emotional side I did. I thought also what if it were someone that was not a stranger to me? In which case I would not like to say what I would do to him. However, what is the difference between justice and vengence? In all honesty I'm still not exactly sure where I stand on this one. 11. It's clear that they don't understand justice, they confuse it with revenge. (in this instance at least) Oh contrare, haven't you heard? Justice is blind When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca

  13. Lawrocket, in light of your reply and considering the Bush administrations' "special renditioning "programs, would you support the kidnapping of CIA agents and American government officials? Blues, Cliff American government officials? Kidnap them? Shit. Fucking kill em, while you're at it. Start with Congress. I take it you look good in orange. 15. A Iranian woman blinded by a face full of acid thrown at her face by a man she turned down following a marriage proposal, is getting her justice eye for an eye style... "He will be anesthetized and will not suffer pain. His face will not be disfigured because only a few drops (of acid) will be needed, he will not have the internal injuries which I had," she told ABC when asked if she felt she was less cruel than her aggressor. "He did not have any compassion when he waited for me for hours outside of my workplace and threw the acid on me," she added. Bahrami recovered 40 percent vision in her right eye but in 2007 she suffered an infection and became totally blind again. http://uk.news.yahoo.com/18/20090305/twl-blinded-iranian-woman-welcomes-eye-f-3cd7efd_1.html Do you agree with the punishment? 20. Following the attack on the Sri Lankan criket team by terrorists unknown i don't think we'll be seeing test criket in Pakistan in the next decade. Five dead police but they managed to fight off 12 terrorists armed with shoulder held rocket launchers, Grenades and automatic and semi automatic weapons. Non of the criketers are dead (although most seem to be wounded) http://news.sky.com/skynews/ When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. 22. Why? If some people find pleasure in recreational drug use, why try to get them to stop? Sure, the behavior can be risky, more so with some drugs than others, but aside from bumming out their friends and family if they die, the risk is their own, and they're not hurting others. In fact, it sounds a lot like skydiving (deriving pleasure from an activity that appears dangerous and without benefit to many non-participants). Because when you live in a nation that has socailised healthcare it ceases to be a burden on just their friends and family.
