  2. "Jou America Jou"... Hmm...Doesn't have quite the same ring to it. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  3. The UK are gong one step further, by claiming it will be used to charge for road use the UK Gov is making it manditory for all UK vechicals to carry tracking devices. 4. Its a load of nonsense. Qudafi used the term 'Homicide bomber' yea, sure he did So there is 2.5 Million Muslims in the UK out of a population of 65 Million! Big deal. I was born into a Muslim family and I don't know any Muslims that have a family larger than 4 kids, I live in Ireland and its not unusual for my friends here to have six or seven siblings. This video is just plain daft, 50% of new borns in the Netherlands are Muslim??? No doubt the other 50% are Hindus So Islam is growing, Yep, it is and its been the fastest growing religion for years. But just because a few wack jobs turn to terrorism and extremist views doesn't mean the rest of Muslims follow suit, if they did there would be civil war everywhere according to the figures in that film. Its just silly. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  5. Don't be such a poof. Gey yourself a hunting knife , tie it to a stick and go Rambo When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  6. LOL... It would be scary if most Americans thought like that, but by the sound of it they asked a load of uneducated rednecks, and every country has their version of those. 7. Type of information gathered includes very high grade intelligence. Planned actions, weapons cache locations, explosives cache locations, locations of IED factories, intelligence on political affiliated members, whos who in the organisation, names of targeted individuals. 8. How about this one, its a genuine scenario... You are an agent handler, your asset is well placed and quite high up in a terrorist organisation. They have been supplying good product for some time (around two to three years). You have a second asset controled by your organisation, they are even higher up in the command structure of the terrorist organisation. The second asset gives you information of a nature that must be acted on. You know that their is suspicions within the terrorist orgaisation that the first asset is an informant. Your asset gets wind of the fact that he is about to be brought in for interrogation by the terrorist organisation.. he runs away and contacts you. You know that by acting on the information of your second asset you will be compromising him. You have two options. 1) Act on the information, and remove both your assets to safety. Your top placed informant will be burnt as an inteligence asset but both your assets will live. 2) Convince your first lower placed asset that his cover is still intact and send him back to face a long interogation by the terrorist organisation which will include torture and certain death. Taking this route will shift the leak of information to him and keep your top asset in place. (You know that this will be his fate from HUMINT and COMINT) Both assets have served you well at great danger to themselves for years, both are dependable. What do you do? 9. 2008 with Daniel Craig. I recently read the true historical account of the Bielski Otriad and it was truely remarkable. The courage of the Bielskis and the people who survived was extraordinary. The true story didn't have Stukas bombing the camp or fights with Panza grenadiers and their tank having just walked through the swamp (which they did). The film paints Tuvia out to be a ignorant peasent with a good heart, like some kind of saint. The real man left his first wife for his second who he was having an affair with and then proceeded to cheat on her with many other women. They stuck together though until he died decades later. He was intelligent and self educated and a man of remarkable resilliance and ability. The true story of their survival was in some ways more mundane but also alot more heroic than the two dimensional comic book hero crap of the film. I'd recommend the book which is well researched and has many testamonials of the partisans. I wouldn't use the DVD for anything other than putting a mug of tea on. What a shame that they dishonoured the true story which was itself remarkable. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. 10. Jusr watched it. The worst fiction posing as a true story I have ever had the misfortune of watching. Utter crap. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  11. The vast majority aren't. There have been a few self-styled militia groups or individuals who have affiliated with militias who have attempted or poorly executed terrorism. They're usually more accurately referred to as anti-government groups but sometimes get erroneously merged with militia groups, like the "Michigan Miltia." E.g., in 1991, the Minnesota Patroits Council obtained ricin (real stuff not just castor beans/castor bean mush) and planned to use it to kill a U.S. deputy marshal, local law enforcement officials, and IRS officials. Three or four of the members were convicted under the Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act (BWAT). There are other examples; that's just the one I know best off the top of my head. /Marg Why did they want to do that? I don't see how anyone can attempt terrorism against their own democratic government and call themselves Patriots. Sound more like traitors. 12. keep my mouth shut, let Carl go to prison, when the cell are captured or killed have Carl released. Have the story suppressed and pay of Carl to keep his mouth shut. There is no dilema. 13. Why? What I said is true. it doesn't matter if you're a Christian extremist, Zionist or Islamist, if you believe that the others are less deserving of Gods love and are hellward bound its easier to justify poor tretment of them. Wether that be torturing them in a CIA black prison, breaking their arms with rocks or cutting their heads off with a kitchen knife. 14. I'd guess that if you believe that your religion is the only truth then its that much easier to see people of other religions as already damned and lost. so whats a little torture compared to what the unbelievers are going to get when they die anyway? 15. Don't know about all the other people outside of the US but I don't get the joke??? Have firearm sales gone up? If so why? When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca

  17. You are saying that in standard cancer research, iridescent genes are inserted into patients' DNA so that doctors can see where the cancer is with a blacklight? I've never heard of that - maybe you can provide a link? I recently went to a talk in Trinity College Dublin where this kind of technology was being used to study the migration of cancerous cells through blood vessles. It was very interesting. 18. I do not believe for a second that this was done in the interest of science. Iridescent dogs cannot possibly help cure human disease. It makes much more economic sense to give them a trademark name, like "Ruppy", and sell them at Wal-Mart for $1,000 per pop (Free Blacklight with every purchase!) And despite my disgust, all I can wonder is: does their poop also glow? Because if it did, it would be really easy to avoid it while walking in the park. if you can geneticly induce a tumour to do the same under black light it would then be possible for surgeons to be able to see and detect and therefore remove cancerous cells that may have invaded local tissue. 19. Bucketing all Euro's in a single demographic is like saying all New Yorkers are the same as all Montanans I dunno...I'd be willing to bet money that 50% plus 1 (most) of the europeans really are scratching their heads in puzzlement as to why we (citizens of the USA) get so fired up about firearms issues. Scratch scratch... Also whats the deal with State Millitias????? Is that not just like a local terrorist training camp? 22. No. other than the Gurkas you either have to be a Uk citizen or a Commenwealth citizen to join HM Forces. The only other exception is if you are an Irish citizen. Commonwealth citizens can apply for a UK passport after 5 years residence in the UK. Since 22 Nov 06 eligible Commonwealth citizens serving in the Regular element of the UK Armed Forces have been able to count their service, at home and overseas, towards the 5 year residency criteria for applications for British citizenship whilst still serving providing they meet the other Home Office criteria . Applications including passing the ‘Life in the UK Test’ and the payment of the fee, are a personal matter between the individual and the Home Office. Once the serving soldier has successfully gained UK citizenship, dependants may initially apply for 2 years’ leave as the spouse/civil partner of a British citizen and then settlement also known as Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR). ILR normally gives recourse to public funds and generally precludes the need to purchase further UK visas. Once dependants have obtained ILR, they too may apply for naturalisation providing they have by that stage been resident in the UK for at least 3 years. Time spent accompanying their spouse on service overseas may also count towards the three-year UK residency requirement.
