  8. LOL... Well we got rid of Tony at last and the new crowd are doing ok apart from Defence and Policing. Its minus 1 outside this morning (Dave stopped paying the weather bill due to the cuts so now we have an extended winter) It hasn't rained for a days in London (I think) and Tony is defiantly gone (I double checked). However if you want meat that tastes like something other than cardboard, blue skies guaranteed in the morning then I might leave it a bit longer if I were you. (Having said that we haven't had any massive fires, earthquakes or floods recently either. Swings and roundabouts I guess)
  9. LOL... I don't know if you're in London or not but if you are you should check out the Creperie on the otherside of the road from South Ken tube station, awesome food! http://www.kensingtoncreperie.com/pages/about.html When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. 11. Glad they caught them, insurance premiums are already sky high God knows how the under 25s can afford to drive at all. I wonder how many other gangs are carrying out this type of crime. If this continues unabated I wonder how long it will be before hire companies refuse to allow complete insurance cover on hire vehicles. 13. LMFAO Love it. Maybe we should do like in Ireland, they recognised that the population can't drive properly and so now have TV adverts on RTE showing you how to use a roundabout. Seriously I'm not kidding. Look... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPjIlh9DTZc But stupid tourists just can't get enough of the thrill of feckin it up.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqovUqGavx8 When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. 15. Its a worry alright, the problem is that the system simply doesn't work. Remember the dot com bubble? The crash was a result of people forgetting simple business rules, any idiot who could make a website could make a fortune just because people clicked on it, mad money. The bottom line was that the sites didn't make money but were stupidly valued. Well its the same idea here, people are ignoring the fact that borrowing money you don't have from banks that don't have it in the hope that you will be able to pay it back is simply retarded. When the solution is for Banks to write off the bad debt to be able to continue to lend to people who have no money to repay them with is almost the definition of stupidity. 16. LOL... I was just about to post the same story. It nuts, what the hell are the Government doing? First they make us vulnerable internationally by getting rid of our Harriers, sacking 1 in 4 RAF pilots and loads of soldiers (some by e-mail!) Now they make us vulnerable on the streets and in our homes. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Lucius Annaeus Seneca
  17. That Lord who found himself in hot water because he said people don't know how good they've got it was only telling the truth. 19. I agree about the Conservatives but as for Labour and education, before them University attendance was a right which was totally free. When I did my undergrad I didn't pay a bean, in fact the Gov payed for me and paid me to do it on top... 20. In fairness I very much doubt that they were doing what has been stated. Why would they do an insertion via helicopter insertion armed to the teeth if their mission was to just make contact with local anti Khadafi types? After all HMS Cumberland just rocked up in Bengarzi harbour and tied up, if they wanted to make contact with local insurgents they could have simply caught a cab to them from the ship. I think William is taking the flak for something that can't be disclosed. Also can you imagine the media if it had got out that the team had killed the local population in a firefight. 22. Because I don't think that enough Labour voters will swing to the Libs to replace the flood of Lib voters that will most likely swing to Labour. he student fees issue really smashed their support base. I think it more likely that the next coalition would have to be between the Conservatives and Labour or Labour and a rag tag bunch of greens and others. I'd be surprised if the conservatives get enough votes for a majority after another three years. However if the economy turns around and they don't get us involved in any more stupid wars I guess you never know.
