So then, by your own logic, your own opinion on other suspects is worthless as well.

Let me venture a guess here...Duane had a sloped/slanted forehead as well as the scar?

Speaking of solving the Cooper case, anyone have any idea when Dan Gryder is going to drop his solution? I thought it was coming the 24th, but haven't seen anything yet. I'm interested hear what he has.
-
And oddly enough, they only needed to talk to ol' Bernie and get a confession. Of course, Bernie is dead now so he can neither confirm or deny this. Also, if a confession was all it took to solve this case, it would have been solved long ago. Interestingly, the FBI looked into dead suspects prior and had no problem making it public (Remember LD, their "most promising" suspect). But once they figure out it's Kenny, they decide to keep it quiet??
-
So, how do you suppose that the FBI finally figured out it was Christiansen? They obviously didn't reach out to any of your "witnesses". Otherwise you'd have been posting about that relentlessly, just like you do about the campouts. Lyle would have certainly told you if they came to him. As you pointed out, too late to get records from NWA. So, if they know it was Christiansen, how did they figure it out? (((The answer is pretty simple: They didn't))).

You're wasting your time. This his been explained to him over and over. He refuses to accept it. He also weighs the descriptions from all passengers as equally as those of the flight attendants. Why? So he can say the descriptions are all over the place. When your suspect does not fit the description, you have to discredit the description.
-
Yep, too bad there wasn't a live stream. I would think that would be easy enough to do.
-
Did he mention any suspects by name that he said were definitely not Cooper?
-
Conflicting reports from Coopercon....Folks that were there say great turnout, the best yet. Blevins says not a good turnout. I'll trust the folks that were there and saw it first hand.

I used to work for an explosives company for a short period of time back in the mid 90's. I remember the dynamite that we used was tan, but I want to say that some of it was pink in color as well. The sticks were also short and stubby as opposed to the long skinny sticks we often see. I'd say about 6" in length and probably a couple of inches or so in diameter. As with color, probably many different options in size. It's interesting that you think the bomb was real as most people believe it was fake. I think most people want to think it was fake because it kind of changes the way we have to view Cooper if the bomb was real. If it's fake, then he has no real intention of blowing the plane up. But, if it's real, then who knows how things would have played out if the airline decided not to meet his demands. I've also wondered if he had a backup plan (gun). No way to know, of course. The reason I've always thought the bomb to be fake was that I didn't figure that he would bail out of the plane with a real bomb on his person. Not a great reason, I know.
-
Because believe it or not, there are some folks out there that choose to not obey the laws. Personally, I don't even own a gun. So I'm probably the wrong person to be promoting the idea that everyone go heeled. I don't know that I actually like the idea, but as I said, sometimes I think we would be better off. Rittenhouse will probably sue for defamation and win. By win, I mean he will get a settlement or most likely, settlements. See Nick Sandmann. But he may instead choose to just disappear and live his life without bringing any more attention to himself.
-
I never said Carter wasn't a good dude. But his actions after he left office have no bearing on what kind of President he was. Great ex-president though, I will give him that. Kyle Rittenhouse should have just stayed home. It was ill advised to go out there with a gun, any gun. But even doing that, does not mean that he gives up his right to self defense. There was no conviction to be had regardless of the charge. If the governor would have allowed the national guard to come in, then in all probability none of this would have happened. As it often does, partisan politics got in the way. Rittenhouse will most likely file and win a few lawsuits when all is said and done. Sometimes I think we'd be better off if everyone walked around armed.
-
I just disagree with it regardless of who is saying it. Cooper doesn't get the attention that a lot of other major crimes get. My guess is that is probably why we haven't seen a major movie about it. Even a case like Zodiac has only 1 major movie done that I'm aware of, and just like Cooper that one is unsolved as well. And just as I'm sure a Cooper movie would, they took some liberties with the facts of that case.

I'm not going to get in a political back and forth so this is all I will say on the topic: The current president is well on his way to taking the crown of "Worst US President who has ever served", a crown that currently resides with Jimmy Carter. This guy is in way over his head and has been a disaster since day 1. So bad, that he may not even be nominated a second time. EDIT: When I say worst ever, I'm basically saying worst during my lifetime. I can't judge beyond that.
-
Bullshit. If Hollywood wants to make a movie about something, they don't need a real ending or for it to be "solved". We could talk all day long about historical events that Hollywood has re-done the ending to. I don't know why there has never been a serious Cooper movie made, but I promise you that it isn't because they don't know the ending to the story. That thought is ridiculous.
-
Actually, for someone doing a movie I think that is an advantage. We don't know the true ending, so a movie could take any direction they wanted with the ending. I'd like to see Tarantino tackle Cooper. He tends to re-write history with some of his films anyway. I think Cooper would be right up his alley. Interesting fact: Tarantino went to the same elementary school that I did as a kid for one year. I think he was a fifth grader and I was in first grade. There was a drive in theater about 3 blocks from where I currently live that his mother used to take him to as a kid. That's when he developed his love for movies. Most of his movies have a Tennessee reference in them and that is the reason why.
-
Not me. I'm not vested at all. I want the case to be solved and I don't care who the perp is, I just want to know. I've never thought Kenny resembled either of the sketches at all. The words "Kenny Christiansen" never came out of John Jarvis' mouth. This comes from your own article.
-
This being the case, I've never understood the argument that Cooper was a novice because he opened up the only good front chute he had. If he couldn't use either, then he really didn't have a good one at all. Right?
-
I'm sure if someone would just go ask, they would probably remember who buried that money on Kenny's property and hell they may even know how he paid for the other half of his house. They may have even witnessed the cash exchange. I'm sure they would remember it. When you gonna update that book Blevins?
-
Kenny Christiansen was put forth as a DB Cooper suspect at least 4 or 5 years prior to the airing of Decoded. It was covered in local papers. But yet we are supposed to believe that none of these supposed friends of his - not a single one - had any idea of this until Mr. Blevins came knocking on their door? These "witnesses" that were so tuned in to their surroundings that they could not only remember that Kenny didn't make it to Turkey Day dinner 39 years prior, they could also remember that he had a sun tan when he wasn't there. They could also remember that he never wore his toupee again after that. But yet, while being so sharp and remembering all of those fine details, they had no idea that their old friend was being mentioned as a DB Cooper suspect in the present day? They didn't read the paper? They didn't pick up on any of the gossip? You can't tell me that word didn't get around. I live in a small town and I know how that works. "We just saw Kenny on the previews and thought it was because he worked for Northwest!!". My ass. Anyone that believes that shit has to be 100% eat up with dumbass.
-
A wood box is a wood box. Any two random wood boxes are probably going to have SOME similarities. I've never seen either of these two wooden boxes and I can tell you one similarity they had in common: At the time of their discovery, neither one contained any of the Cooper ransom. The 302's show that Northwest employees were looked at. So, you can keep posting that RH quote all you want, but it's wrong.
-
So what is the grudge?
-
I stand corrected. The company was RMI and it was in Ashtabula Ohio, which is 60 Miles away from Cleveland.
-
It wasn't Tektronix but the other one don't sound right either.
-
When I started with the company that I am with now, one of the first places that I had to go was a salt mine in Cleveland Ohio. This mine is around 1800 feet underneath Lake Erie. The salt that comes out of there is 98% Sodium Chloride, but if I remember correctly is not food quality salt. It's been a while since I was there and I hope I never have to go back. Not a fun elevator ride down, and the whole time down there you never quit thinking about the fact that you are underneath Lake Erie. Coincidentally, I think Cleveland is also home to one of the two companies that Tom Kaye said were the best possible sources for some of the materials on the tie. Can't recall the name of that company.
