Oh, I'm not moving on until we have our answer, but I am ready for that to happen. I love a good mystery, and this has been a damn good mystery. But ultimately, I want the conclusion. Sorry to hear that we are football enemies. But there's always room over here on the bandwagon if you ever want to follow the words of the great Jim Morrison and break on through to the other side!

He certainly has his share of detractors. Personally, I respect anyone that rolls up their sleeves and tries to solve this thing. That's not me. I a fan of the case and nothing more. For that reason I think it would be somewhat hypocritical for me to pass judgement on those who are trying. Admittedly, Eric puts a lot of things out there, theories and such, that I absolutely do not agree with. I'm not impressed with his latest suspect at all. But unless someone just goes way beyond logic and reason (Blevins, Colbert, Weber), I try not to be too judgmental. Oddly enough, those are usually the ones that get very defensive when people don't agree with them. I'm ready to move on though, so someone needs to hurry and solve this thing!

Well, there's a damn rabbit hole to go down...I wonder if that guy wound up on the bottom of the Columbia??

Not with those big ass ears! Jo was her own worst enemy. She wanted people to buy in to Duane, but the layers and layers of bullshit that she kept piling onto the story made it impossible to determine what - if anything - was true. I've often wondered if there was ever a confession to begin with.

I'm sure he does. You may recall, he did two episodes of Darren's podcast a while back. He's pretty much taken over promoting Duane as Cooper, though other than the podcast, he doesn't really do much promoting. Despite that, he's a pretty sharp guy. He used to be a regular here under the moniker of SafecrackingPLF, but hasn't participated in years.

I remember that...Bulljax right?
-
Yeah, I don't remember the exact quote so I won't try to repeat it, but he did mention a few weeks ago that he has moved on from him.

I agree with Olemisscub that Braden is the best answer to the first 3. I'm not sure he is the best answer when it comes to avoiding capture. There were some that pointed the finger at Braden.

This isn't indicative of a wrong flight path, it's indicative that Cooper survived. None of the things you mentioned were found along any flight path.

It wasn't an attempt to spell Dan. It was being read as initials. So D.A. is no closer to being correct than D.B.. Not that any of this matters.
-
No, not really.
-
CBS also said D.A. Cooper.

Wasn't Mitchell already seated? I always assumed he chose that side because it was opposite Mitchell. If Mitchell were seated on the right, would Coop have chosen to sit on the left? I don't recall Reca speaking to this, so I guess we'll never know.
-
Isn't Mitchell the only one that described Cooper as having the "turkey gobble" neck?

The only pictures that I have seen of LD was the one where he is holding up the guitar straps and the one below which was taken sometime in the mid 90's.

I doubt it. He is clearly pushing a narrative that we all know is bullshit, and Blevins did the same thing as well. But that's not what got Blevins banished. Just have to live with it, or everyone can use the ignore feature.

Lol. This shit gets funnier and more ridiculous by the day. Dick Briggs probably planted a few things in his day, but money at Tena Bar wasn't one of them.
-
Georger can correct me if I'm wrong here as he has a better knowledge of the fragments that were found than I do, but I have never heard them described as "very few" or "surprisingly few".
-
You familiar with shards / fragments???

Larry Carr has been known to hang out at the Cooper Mystery Group on Facebook since his retirement from the FBI. I'm sure he would be willing to respond to any comments or questions you may have for him.
-
Shutters forum (thedbcooperforum.com). He started that forum either after or right before this one was locked. The only other forum would be one of the many that Blevins started and shut down numerous times.

After he left DZ, he wasn't posting anywhere.
